For those of us NOT going to Daytona!

The forum is gonna be pretty slow for a few days! What will we do since we've been left behind? So far I've come up with pout, curse, plot revenge... anyone have any better ideas?

Maybe someday we'll go. However I highly doubt I will be on the computer at all this weekend. The hubby is returning home and I only get two days to spend with him:( before he leaves for work again.

I just don't know how all those military wives do it!! MAJOR kudos to them.

I'm definitely going next year. I haven't gone to a reptile show since March, so I'm itching to go to another one. I think the next one that is close to me is in Northern VA in October.

Wow, that is a long time. I was so looking foreward to going to Daytona this year though. We are saving up for it starting now. The next show around here is in October. There is a Richmond Show here around then. They are small but its a reptile show, and I think it will tide me over till a bigger show.

Im going to try and make it to NARBC arlington this year, I have been trying for years..LOL. But this year....I can drive!!! Once i start work I can start saving for that.:D

Aw darn. See, there are no good shows around here. The Richmond show and the Manassas show. Daytona was my big show I was going to this year since I'd never been to a big show. I'm very tempted to get in the car, call in sick and head down there, but the fiance would be furious with me. :P

Yeah, there are alot of shows in Texas, but only one is local to me, and being a kid that isnt driving yet ( ONE month) my parents are not going to drive me everywhere.

I've never been to Tinley but I hear great things about it. Mike and I have never actually done a really big show so we're dying to get to it this year. I've often heard a lot of the bigger breeder/vendors there feel it's a bit more relaxing than Daytona.

I would deff go to tinley if I could catch a bears game too!:D

Yeah, it was one of those things... I have family out there, so I can kill two birds with one stone. :)

Plus, I have a great group of friends I only get to see a couple times a year if that, so I have to make it out :D

It is much bigger than the Manassas show.

I'm excited about going to Chantilly this year. I thought we were going to go last year but we ended up deciding not to.

Jaybunny, another show that is bigger than the Manassas show and the Richmond show (which I haven't personally been to but heard it is about the same as Manassas) that might be close enough for you is the MARS show in the Baltimore area.

Thanks for the info on those shows. I'm going to check my schedule and see if they've done the schedules that far. If not, my fiance and I are taking the weekend off for the MARS show.

I would say handle your herps but most of mine are in shed and the ones that aren't I don't feel like messing with :(
