    My Snakeroom (Updated!)
Everyone seemed to love my set up last time I made a thread showing all my racks and supplies, so, update time!

    http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/b...m/IMG_0001.jpg
    http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/b...m/IMG_0002.jpg

    New supply rack.
    http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/b...m/IMG_0003.jpg

    Two essential books for me.
    http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/b...m/IMG_0004.jpg

"The Big Book" is my collection of important documents and lists relating to my ball pythons, and also old record cards and pictures go in there too. The vet book is something I ordered online and it’s got information on veterinary care about every animal commonly kept in the pet trade that is NOT a cat or a dog, aka an exotic.

    http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/b...m/IMG_0005.jpg

Here’s a shoebox full of extra aspen if I happen to take a large amount out of any given enclosure when spot cleaning. Also a box of vinyl gloves for said spot cleaning, and that little black box is obviously my snakeroom flight data recorder…what? Don’t you have one of those? Ok, ok, it’s full of blank record cards…

    http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/b...m/IMG_0006.jpg

Here are a few nice pictures and some lovely thermostats.

    http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/b...m/IMG_0007.jpg

Here’s my rack building tool bag! It’s got every conceivable tool I’ve ever needed since I started this hobby, and trust me; it’s a butt load of tools!

    http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/b...m/IMG_0008.jpg
    http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/b...m/IMG_0009.jpg

    http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/b...m/IMG_0011.jpg

    A record card shot.

    http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/b...m/IMG_0016.jpg
    http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/b...m/IMG_0017.jpg

The last remaining tank dweller (The temp is a little low because I just opened the window right above the tank to get some fresh air in there).

    http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/b...m/IMG_0018.jpg

Spare tank on the other side of the room for any emergency new snakes, rescues and what not (yes I see how high the temp is! Don’t worry nobody’s home!)

    http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/b...m/IMG_0020.jpg

My bedroom wall, gotta love those reptile magazine centrefolds! (Disclaimer: Reptiles Magazine does not share the views and opinions of Peter Williams. Reptiles Magazine is in no way affiliated with Peter Williams. LOL!)

    http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/b...m/IMG_0019.jpg

This is just something I made for fun the other day to fool some friends whenever they come to see the collection. In a situation were this was questioned, I would never attempt to pass this off as a legitimate document, it is for entertainment purposes only. Now I just need two people to fake sign it!)

    http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/b...m/IMG_0021.jpg

Same old same old goin’ on with the rats.

    http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/b...m/IMG_0036.jpg

However, something new is this big 75 gal tank which I empty weaners from the tubs into every week when I’m cleaning.

    http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/b...m/IMG_0037.jpg

Close up of my giant food hopper in there.

    http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/b...m/IMG_0038.jpg

Some cute little hairless rats I’m raising up.

    http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/b...m/IMG_0039.jpg
    http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/b...m/IMG_0040.jpg
    http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/b...m/IMG_0041.jpg

Gosh darn it! The big bowl is supposed to prevent them from climbing up top!

    http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/b...m/IMG_0043.jpg
    http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/b...m/IMG_0042.jpg

    My freezer’s getting fuuuuull!

    http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/b...m/IMG_0044.jpg
    http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/b...m/IMG_0045.jpg

And that’s everything new I’ve got to show you guys! I just hope I don’t get flamed for that fake document!

Are the rack locks difficult to remove to get into the tubs?

I seriously am taking this setup to heart and hoping that one day I can have something as nice as that!

It's not a lock per say, just prevents them from pushing the tubs out, I don't remember the video were Ralph explains it but I'll find out were it shows him removing one, and its the exact same way I remove them.

All home build except for the little one on the far right, that one was build by Chris (Uncle Festae). You should have guessed from my massive rack building toolbag.:P

I don't have any really on my computer anymore, but sometime before 2009, I'll be building about 5 more of those babies, so I'll make a thread chronicling the building process just for you buddy!

I really appreciate what all you guys said! Just makes me wanna keep going with this hobby that much more! But I can't take all the credit for this. Basically my whole set up wouldn't be at what it is today without my good friend Chris, or as some of you know him "Uncle Festae". Way back when all I had was one little pet ball python, Chris took me under his wing so to speak, and now I've gotten to this over 2 years. Everything I do it wouldn't have been the same without him, Thanks Chris!

    Great thread Peter.

Sweet setups! Hey, you can never have too many normal girls IMO. I like your locking bars on your snake racks. And that rat food hopper.. I am going to have to steal your design! ;)

Hi, I was planning on building myself a snake rack, but after seeing yours, I modified my plans. Hope you don't mind. It maximized the tubs that I could fit in. And minimized the waste cuttoffs that I would have had. It's a great design. This was my first attempt at working with melamine/chipboard.

    http://i409.photobucket.com/albums/p...Photo-0074.jpg

And here is one with my one friend who helped build it

I went a bit overboard with putting screws in the side.:D
But it made it really sturdy.

    Re: My Snakeroom (Updated!)
This is how I cut it if anyone is interested.
I got 4 melamine boards and cut them as follows.
Didn't stick exactly to the plan...
But that's the same measurements...Everything is in mm.

    http://i409.photobucket.com/albums/p...yd/newrack.jpg

Oh, I cut the cross pieces at 360mm instead of 350mm, so there was only a tiny bit of wastage from those two boards. But still cut the long piece at 1300.
