    Patience is a virtue.
Finally after almost two months, I've finally gotten the last two holdout babies to eat! I tried live, f/t, mice, rats, the balled up newspaper trick. But finally they are eating! It ended up being live mice pups, but I'm just over the moon that they've finally eaten! It's a major relief, and one less thing I have to worry about while I'm away in Daytona. :D

    Thanks Laura.

I was really starting to worry about those last two, and was trying to prepare myself to try assist feeding. I can't even tell you how excited I am!!!

Naw, I feel ya! This year everyone took to feeding really well *knock on wood* But last year, I had 2 refusers... D was over one night and we placed a rat pup into their mouths, and that was all it took to get them started... I remember being so FREAKED that they wouldn't just EAT! LOL

I was the opposite, last year everyone ate with no problems.

I actually got really lucky on the mouselings, because I can't get live baby mice here. I had purchased a couple feeders for a picky eater, and one was noticably pregnant. I kept her, and a couple weeks later I had a few extra meals for free. I didn't think I had a chance of getting a babies, but it was worth a shot. It worked out VERY well.

    Very cool Christie!

I had a hatchling hold out for 11 weeks last year. Finally after one assist feeding she ate everytime. Today she is a real piggy and will eat anything I throw in there. Now she one of those snakes when you open the tub she pops up with the "watcha got for me" look on her face.

Glad little Ghandi decided to start eating:gj:

Well I'm glad you didn't end up having to assist but I know if you had to do that, you'd have managed it quite fine. :)

I'm glad I didn't have to do the assist feed too. I probably would have been on the phone with you the entire time freaking out.
