    Gila Monster in Garage
My friend Candace found this in her garage in Tuscon.
I want one so bad. I told my wife next time she finds one to call me and I will help relocate this handsome fellow for her. Her husband wouldn't go near him(LOL). I would be so happy to find one in my garage thats for sure!

I am not sure if highly illegal is the word I would use it appears to be a Misdemeanor and a fine.

I have family near Phoenix Arizona and all I ever see are orange trees, quail, and jack rabbits.

I live in Phoenix, Az and am a member of the Arizona Herpetological Association. I also volunteer for the reptile rescue hotline. I have been fortunate enough to go on several Gila calls. It never gets old finding one of these, even if it is in someone's back yard. I also deal with plenty of rattlesnakes and "eight foot gopher snakes".

Yes highly illegal would be the word for even touching it. Your looking at over a thousand dollars in fines when you lay a fingure on it.
