Daytona plans...

So what are you planning on getting while in Daytona?
What are you doing to keep yourself busy until this upcoming weekend?!

Will definately get:
*2 CB70 4 tub Racks from RBI
*3 female pastels
*1 probe set
*1 Helix or Herpstat thermostat
*Flexwatt to make incubator with
*BEER

Will be on the lookout for:
*High quality female Cinny
*Water bowls for my new racks
*A high quality male morph that I don't already have.
*high quality temp gun
*More BEER

All (and more) of my money is spent in Daytona already, I am just going to pick up and maybe purchase one more, haha. I am picking up a Male Pied, Breeding Size Het Clown Pair, two big normal females, and might break down and purchase a sweet looking Mojave male as well. Then i will come back with debt up to my eyeballs, but enjoying every minute. :snake::8:

Temp gun, 1.1 het ghost, incubator (of some sort, going to see whats there) two female leos if i find any i like, and perhaps a couple other things.. gonna play it by ear.

No plans this year to add anything new to the collection. I just look forward to another year of hanging out with a lot of friends. It's always a good time :D

Big maybe for me I might not be able to make it. If I do I can probably pick one of these.

I was planning on picking myself up something nice. But my pump went out, and I still haven't sold the babies I have up, so I doubt I'll have funds to get anything.

I'm looking to get a VPI axanthic male, pin female, and some normal females. Maybe a cinny female too. I always save about $100-$200 for supplies......tubs,books,rodent food,etc.

Well, seeing as I still owe someone near and dear to me money on a couple of snakes on payment plan, I'm not buying any additional snakes while there - to me, that's just disrespectful.

BUT, I am picking up some snakes while I'm there from a breeding loan and also a couple that have been paid off and at the breeder's since January! LOL

So, although I'm not spending money in Daytona on snakes, I'm coming home with at least 5 new snakes. Not sure on 2 others.

As for what I'm doing this week? Working today and tomorrow, Wednesday I'm off and doing last minute preparations for leaving (cleaning every critter's enclosures) and then Karl will get off work early (that's like 8 pm) on Wednesday, and we plan to hit the road some time between midnight and 4 a.m. to drive down to Daytona.

NOW I'm getting excited!

If I go ( I should, but im still waiting on money that should have been here last week:rolleyes:) i'll have school to keep me busy. BUT... I have Saturday off so that will be nice, havn't had a day off in what seems like forever. Sunday morning ( around 1 am) we are going to head down to daytona! While im there i'll just take alot of pictures and meet alot of people. The only things I know im buying is more water bowls, hides, and maybe a het something pair.

There is no way I could drive down, do the show and drive back all in a 24 hour period of time. You're going to be a zombie in school on Monday - unless you are taking off?

I got a week and a half off...5 days in Disney World then Daytona weekend - Kid free...:D:D:D...Don't have to be back at work til next Wed. night...I'm a happy camper -

I am meeting up with a couple on Sat to do a trade to aqurie a nice young adult pair of aussie womas. The rest of the weekend will be spent drooling over stuff I don't have the money for!

Anything I buy I'd have to ship, so that should help me to be good. I also incurred a very large vet bill associated with a domestic dispute between geckos - just before vacation, so my poor injured female had to board at the vet for 2 1/2 weeks following her surgery. She's recovering nicely, though.

I will still be looking for a boyfriend(s) for my pied and hypo Mojave girls. If only I could make a decision about what I want. I am also looking for an anery 100% het albino male sand boa.

In the meantime, my semester starts this week, so I'm busily preparing syllabi, lectures, and lab handouts for this week and next week. I'm sure the week will go fast! :D

Meeting everyone from here, fishing with Jon (NWE) if there isn't a hurricane, drinking with everyone from here and hopefully picking up a male co-dom combo and a female fire, vanilla or enchi, and maybe a nice normal female. That's likely to change once I walk into the show and see all the crazy options there are going to be.

Wanting to get 2 medium FB rack levels, will price another VP CB70. Looking for female pastels and codom males, will definately get a male pin, maybe another cinny, spider, or mojo. Will have to fill up the empty slots in the FB levels!!:D
