    waltah!
    New girl:)
This is my new girl. She seems a bit dehydrated and apparently was not eating well. I took her in to see if I can take care of these things. She has been pretty sweet so far. This is just a quick camera phone pic.

She's soaking as I type this. I just brought her home a couple of hours ago. I always wanted a borneo, and I think she has a great pattern.

She soaked for a good while, and is eating right now. I'll post some pics when she is starting to look better for a comparison.

Thanks guys. I'll keep my fingers crossed that she turns things around for me. She ate for me and has been soaking alot. I had her on paper towels to make sure there are no mites, I think she was just dehydrated. Almost every baby Blood or Borneo i've seen in a store was soaking. Some of you more experienced owners could tell me if this is normal when they are young.

yeah nice pattern just needs some recovery and should be good as gold.

    Re: New girl:)
Apparently she just was not feeding regularly. Babies often need to be started on live and the previous owner did not want to do that. I feed f/t, but I started her out on live. I'll make the switch when she eats regularly....I just want her to eat, period. Here's a couple of pics from a few min ago when I was changing out her water. She's lookin good so far:)

Thanks, Lena! I think she is really gorgeous. She is going to be a handful I think, but with lots of work hopefully she will not be quite as fiesty. She's around 3 1/2 months old. She ate yesterday so I have to wait to weigh her.

Thanks! Those pics are only 2 days apart, so time will tell I guess. I've been leaving her alone to settle in but i'll take her out tomorrow probably to see how her temperment is. The day I brought her home she was fine, but also probably not feeling like herself. I hope to not find out what a bite feels like from this little girl!
Hey Lena, can I borrow those gloves of yours?;)
