i woke up today, and now i have a boy

Well, here is the story, there is this guy, he is a traveling nurse, hes headed to cali, and couldnt take the snake

he didnt want to make his girlfriend (who isnt a real fan of snakes) have to deal with him...
so they have been looking for a new home, well, a friend of the girlfriend knows my mom, and knows that i had redtails, weelllll

we got a call this morning from the girlfriend, and all they wanted was a little over $120 for the snake and his cage ---- basically for the cage, because it cost him $160 to make it...

dont worry about the mesh, i know, it wont hold humidity, i plan on fixing that soon, but not right now.

you cant tell that well, but his sides are SUPER pink, and he has real reduced saddles, idk if it means anything,

but he also reminds me and my mom of a pastel we saw at the show a couple weeks ago...

i love helping people out, this snake is gorgeous, i cant wait to get better pics tomorrow :D

(and yes, i plan on putting something a little bit cleaner friendly, i plan on working on that sometime next week cause i have the stuff somewhere)

He's sure is a looker. Seal the wood, and replace the screen with plexiglas and that cage will be incredible.

yeah, thats the plan,
i dont have the cash to get plexi right now, but to be honest, the room he is in, doesnt have any drafts, and has a steady humidity --- prolly not perfect, but yeah. once i get the money. its deff going to be plexi :D

its a sick cage, and i think i might go with that design when i do the big snakes cages.... not wire, but just the way that the doors are and stuff :D

Looks awsome. Love the cage. Some plexy, sealer and your all set. Or a snake room like mine that stays 60% humidity. Take a look at the home depot as ours has sheets of plexy. not sure if they are big enough for your cage though.

The big guy has some size to him. very healthy. I got mine in Feb 08 at NARBC Dallas and he is smaller than yours. Not sure when mine was born but I would bet mine is at a year old or so.

yeah, the room they are in has pretty good humidity.

i know lowes has the plexi, but its pricey, and i dont have the cashola lol

now, i can honestly say (other than in the future getting some mojo bps) that i am tapped out.... i dont want anything more at this point and time... only because i want to focus on my two projects... the JCPs hopefully next year, and then the Boas... :D

and through that i WILL buy myself the outstanding pied female that i want.
i know i can do it, and find a way to support getting the pied through the boas... so now to more research!!!
