Just another reason to love the big snakes...
    No, no poo yet....

but do you see ANYTHING strange about this pic, maybe the fact that uh, my snake turned invisible? and that my board games/drawers have been pushed out?
    haha yeah....

well, i realized she was outa her cage while i was on the phone with my mom, then, i go ask my dad if he had seen anything/left the door open while he was fixing the tarp over the rabbit cages... lol... he didnt see or leave it open...

but all night the two doors from the sunroom into the house had been shut. so she was confined to that room... lol

and she picked the tightest place to fit into...behind the entertainment center... also the heaviest piece of junk we have in this room.... im just glad none of the deer heads were knocked off the wall... lol

that gap, on the last pic is about 4 inches from the wall, in the front more like 6... i will never let anyone tell me she cant fit through something like that... :8: even tho i dont have any idea how she did it with her fat bottomed self...

here she is after we pulled it away from the wall :D

and here she is, no huffs or hisses, with me :D i look like crap, but who cares lol

    ahha..

(oh, and mom heard something last night, woke dad up, cause she thought something got in the house.... he said it was just the inside rabbit... and for those of you wondering Dr Pepper is still with us)

I remember the days when I used regular old plastic storage tubs for big boid housing. Escapes were somewhat common. My mom soon kicked me and my snakes out into the pool house. :tears:

I love all the professional housing available nowadays. They look great and are very affordable.

Trust me, if i had the money, i would have a couple Boaphile cages for these girls, but i dont, and my family is not in the situation to drop money on cages right now lol!

heck, if i had a pool house... thats where i would be :) i have my snakes spread out across my house... 3 in my room, 2 in the sunroom, and 2 in the extra bedroom... lol...
my brother got the big room... thats why they arnt all in my room haha

im thinking about a some what less pricey cage design for these two, seeing as i dont see this tank lasting long with this girl (its what they came with)
idk, i have to think up ideas and price things out first :D

I forgot to fasten the lid of mine once and found him halfway out as I walked into my room. Luckily I got there before he could finish his daring escape lol

She escaped even with the bungees attached??? :O

Understanding that they are really very strong snakes, I am now more attached than ever to my plan for getting AP T20's for my girls!!! :gj:

I had my first escape last week - scared the crap out of me!!

I would imagine a big girl like that would be easy to find ;) Definitely noticeable when she's not in her enclosure :P Glad no deer heads were knocked down :D

My little female escaped her feeding tank - I opened the lid to dangle her dinner and was like WTF??? Where is she??? I thought I was gonna have a stroke. I was freaking out. She was all of 2 feet from the feeding tank in the aquarium stand cabinet curled up behind the Oscar food. Talk about letting out a HUGE sigh of relief!
I still don't know how she managed to get out - the lid was locked?! :weirdface

yeah, thank god my mom shuts the two doors every night so that room is isolated from the rest of the house... i would have seen her come in this morning if she was out and about after the door was opened... lol

I can definitely relate. During that time all my money was spent on food. Free newspaper was the only substrate. I think my mom's last straw was when my 14 foot burm was loose in the same room as her beloved Bichon Frise (small white dog/easy meal) when she got home from work.

    hahahha

yeah, i hung up with my mom after i realized she was not in her cage, my mom called me back saying "is the rabbit still in his cage!?"

    lol

my family is in love with that silly bunny... hes basically trained to only pee in his cage now lol... hes like a frickin dog... its insain.. but it would suck if the snake got him... i will never spend $30 on snake food lol
