At Laaaaast! A huge clutch

Well as many of you know I have a girl that started breeding back in Nov of last year. See here for back ground story http://www.ball-pythons.net/forums/s...ad.php?t=69565

well today is day 29 POS! and I walk in to the snake room to find her in the middle of laying her eggs. Pretty cool to get to see it.

She started off as a 3000 + gram girl and when I left had given me 11 eggs with one or two more to go. wish me luck. :D

Well If I get the number of eggs I think she's going to give and my odds work out I'll have at least 6 spiders but 10 spiders and 1 or two normals would be fine too. :D

OK, I'm usually good at math, but I had to think about this one a while. 2 males & 2 females, that's 4. 4 eggs for every pre-lay shed, 5 pre-lay sheds... that means 20 eggs. Huh? :confused:

Ahem....the final count was 11, 1170 grams ;), mom is doing well and is 1800 grams after laying. And he didn't separate the eggs. He thinks he miscounted in the morning.

Well as has already been told the final count was 11 with no slugs. :D. all candled fertile.

Tim I didn't end up pulling them apart but my ex boxes fit them just fine so its all good.
