My SEWERfest addition

I went to SEWERfest telling myself that I wasn't going to get anything... and then I saw the most gorgeous normal female ball python EVER, couldn't walk away. And to boot, she was a proven breeder, and already eats FT small rats. :D

She was originally CH animal, I'm guessing she's an 03/04' the seller said he didn't attempt to breed her this year, but the year prior she gave him 7 perfect eggs. I was guesstimating her weight was 1800-2000 grams, she's at least 5 feet in length...girthy..

She's banded AND really reduced, and has a light caramel head. I weighed her in at 1950 grams.

Unfortunately the snapshot doesn't do her complete justice, her bands connect on the bottom of many of them, and she has a CLEAR belly. I'll take a few more pictures after she settles in and eats for me.

Wow, I would have grabbed her up to! She will go great with anything! I love the gold stripe down her dorsal. I can't resist it when normal reduceds have that. ;)

Thanks Connie, I was discussing her future with Melanie on the way home. She'll make good anything, pastels, lessers, spiders....

She's SO light, should make some morphs POP!:D

Thank you! I'm hoping that year off from breeding did good things for her, and she'll make me proud this year!

I saw her right away when I got there, and was trying to tell myself I didn't need her... but I had to go back before we left.:D

Yea, she got my attention right away too. Every time I passed by staring at her, the guy behind the table was probably like "make-up your mind" LOL!

When you breed her I want to see what she produces! ;)

I like her, the pattern is nice too but I really love that light gold color.

Sure thing! I asked the guy what her babies from 06 looked like, he said, "You know, I don't really remember, I sold them all right away." So he wasn't sure if the babies were banded or not.

I really hope she throws some wicked offspring...but what to breed to her... Good thing I still have a few months to decide.

Just a few choices:
Spider PH Hypo
Lesser
Cinnamon
Pastel
and *knock on wood* a combo male from a clutch due soon.

I don't think I'll choose my cinny, they have a tendancy to overwhelm in pattern combos, I want CLEAN animals.

A lesser might be sweet. Wonder if she'd pass on any of her banding to lesser offspring? That could be smoking...
