Amy Hearts Porkchop!

This is Porkchop, our newest boa. She's a Hog Island girl, possibly a cross. When we first got her she seemed aggressive, but after a weeks she turned into a total puppy dog. She's become my pet and my favorite snake, and I frequently take her out to sit with me in my chair, just sitting calmly in my lap while I read or watch tv. I adore her!

She felt a little cool today so I took her outside today for a stretch in the sun. It's amazing how these beautiful these photos came out in the sunlight! Without further gushing here are some pictures of my lovable girl.

It's a little ironic that two people who don't eat meat/chicken chose to name a snake Porkchop!

Hogs are fun boas to raise up. That nice calm boa will give birth to some nippy babies, lol. They're fun!

I named my male Hog I got last year Pork Chop. Whenever I actually get a female she'll be named Applesauce.
