is there super mojave?? and more??
is there a super mojave? for some reason i thought there was but i know it wouldnt be called a "super mojave" also if you breed a yellowbelly and fire together would you get any kind of white snakes? thanks for any input :D
Re: is there super mojave?? and more??
Yes there is a Super Mojave.
And as for Yellowbelly Fire, I don't think that has been done yet, but I am guessing it will not create a white snake.

The Super Mojave is also known as Blue Eyed Leucistic or BEL for short ;)
Re: is there super mojave?? and more??
The super form of the mojave is a BEL. There are several different morphs as well as combos of those morphs that can produce a white snake.
Some are whiter and have a cleaner look. I'm sure someone else could explain it better.
I think mojave x mojave is not as white as some of the others.
Re: is there super mojave?? and more??
I don't know what the name is is Heather.
Re: is there super mojave?? and more??
ok see i thought mojos made a super that wasnt called a super mojo. that "super mojo" in the link looks nothing like a blue eyed lucy tho.... fires make black eyed lucys right??? i just figured the blue eyed came from a diff strain of fire

That is because the BEL from Mojo X Mojo is not as clean as the others.
The cleanest BEL to me is the Super Lesser.

Yes
Re: is there super mojave?? and more??
well if i have a male that i want to try and prove as a fire or something wild what do you think i should breed him wit? yellowbelly, fire, or mojo. its so damn hard to decide cuz i could save some money or just go for it and buy a female fire... if i knew that mojo and fire have produced something unique i would prob go that route just cuz mojos have the best eye appeal of the 3
Re: is there super mojave?? and more??
It would be hard to dedicate a very valuable breeder size morph female to an unproven male when you could get a reasonably priced male of the same morph as the adult female and have much less risk of not producing anything nice. For example, if you where to go out and buy a female Mojave that would breed this winter it would be very expensive. I’ve not been following but would think close to $2,000 and probably more, perhaps much more. Once you are into it for that much why not spend an extra $500 (again, not sure exactly on price) and get a young breedable Mojave male and KNOW you have a shot at leucistic rather than use up a very valuable year of an adult morph female's breeding on an unproven male.
I would suggest find a nice big ready to breed normal female (maybe $100) for your male. If he is some type of dominant you could find out as early as next summer and hopefully have some known compatible females to hold back.

here is the link to the snake. i already got told that it prob isnt but the snake has shed since the pics and is even lighter now so im thinking he could be something. he was dropped off at the pet shop i work at along with 9 other morphs by someone cuz their owner had died.
yeah i have an unproven granite female also. shes about 700 g's so i think i will just end of breeding them together and see if either proves.

Thanks for that link.

Did you see these other morphs? What where they (really obvious visible types)? Any chance of a better picture now with a camera?
Re: is there super mojave?? and more??
they were obvious and i did see them briefly. 2 mojos, 2 pastels and a super, a spider, another granite, i think there was another but i cant remember. my boss took all of them home and i got the clean up
