:D:D  Finally found one. Now I don't have to tear up a working mini fridge and saw out a hole in the door just to see in. :)
Here's my question: How did the rest of you with one of these fix the shelving dilemma?? I was going to get one with glass shelves, but they brought the other one instead...but that's ok since the one with the good shelves had a bad fan motor.
So, did you just pick up some shelves somewhere? Did you use another material and make new shelves yourself? Instruct me, oh incubator masters! Please... :please::D
Re: Wine Cooler incubator questions
Nice take lots of pics of the work you do becuase ill be needing to make one next year. haha
Re: Wine Cooler incubator questions
Remember when you add shelves you still want to be able to let the air circulate freely inside.
Re: Wine Cooler incubator questions
try some of this ceiling grate...you can find it at Home Depot/Lowes

since it's plastic, you can easily trim it down to fit.
Re: Wine Cooler incubator questions
you can also see if that colsetmate shelves will fit, you might need to have hd cut them for you.
Re: Wine Cooler incubator questions
Thanks, all :) And of course I'll be taking step pics...just got done doing that for my rack.
I was thinking of the coated wire closet shelving...but if the 'egg crate' stuff is stiff and strong enough to act as shelves then I'll get that instead since I need some for egg boxes anyway. :)
Anyone else have good shelf options for this? Dimensions are 22.5"dx24"wx33.5"h outside and 17"dx18"wx27"h inside.
Re: Wine Cooler incubator questions
L brackets and light grates.

I would use the coated wire shelving you mentioned. It will hold up longer than plastic egg crate and it should fit in the same slots the shelves were made to go into. Measure the depth of the fridge and try to match up something, big box stores will cut it for you but with the right tools you can do it yourself.
Re: Wine Cooler incubator questions
I removed the factory shelves (they were solid glass panes.) I then took some metal grate shelves from a different fridge, and cut them to fit. (well my husband cut them.. I am bad with metal cutters that shoot out flying sparks!) You could get fancier and buy shelves brand-new, but we had some lying around and it is working nicely.

that's cool, Argentra. I was thinking of making one at the end of the year. Can't wait to hear about your experience making it!

:)
Hmm, Ok I think I'll take an existing shelf along to Lowes with me and see what I can find. Wire shelves seem more appealing to me, so I'll see if they have anything wide enough.
I'll keep you posted on it... AFTER the show tomorrow! :D
