    I blame you all!
We've finally had both vehicles paid for and no major issues in a long time.... but .... today my husband's car went BOOM. The engine is toast. We're waiting on estimates on replacing the engine or possibly having to bite the bullet and just get a new one. UGH and OUCH!

Since there seemed to be a lot of car issues around here, I'm blaming you all for this. Yup, I am. It makes me feel better so there.

Sorry to hear!? Does this mean you can't go to Daytona, so you'll also have to be joining us in Chicago in October...it gives you a few more months to save! ;):D

I'm used to it, Christie's always pointing the finger at me when things go wrong!

Sorry to hear about hubby's car, Christie - I hope it's not too expensive to fix!

Right now I'm not sure what the repair bill is going to be, but there is a small possibilty that this may impair my ability to attend Daytona. (but I'm not going there yet)

I'm thinking this is going to be a monster bill, since we're going to have to replace the entire engine. UGH. I hate that car....

Hopefully it wasn't the "engine" and it was just a component. Good luck!

I have mechanics in the family so I get a break when it comes to dealing with broken cars... if only there were a car dealer in the family, I would have an upgrade from my 1986 Toyota Celica... ;)

Good luck with your engine problem!

He had JUST filled up before it went poof. So NOT cool!

Now we have a dorky rental car to pay for as well. We can't be without a second car with the kids starting school soon, since I drive them.

I'm pretty sure they're looking at replacing the entire engine, but I'm a total ditz when it comes to cars. I was excited when I figured out how to check the oil and fluids.
