Buuurdy Donation!

I just finished this painting as a donation for the AFA Convention next week...(American Federation of Aviculture.) I think it will be going in the silent auction... It's of Tobias our Green Wing... right after one of his famous, "Pretty Buuurdy" announcements! LOL

.....WOW. Now that's talent, not to mention a gorgeous bird! I prefer Hyacinth Macaws, personally... :) Something about a deep sapphire blue bird is just stunning.

Anyone who loves birds would be honored to have that painting.

The painting came out great. I seriously wish I could paint. That's always been the one thing I absolutely cannot do when it comes to art stuff. I've taken classes and everything. :oops:

I hope it fetches a good price for the convention. :D

2 pionus, a mealy amazon, male eclectus, IRN, a greencheek, and a gouldian. I'm officially the crazy bird lady in my neighborhood. :D

I'm also volunteer coordinator at a local raptor rescue. Goodness if I left for a week that place would fall apart. lol

Unfortunately... the frame was smashed in transit, so my friend opted to not put it up in the auction as a loose canvas. She will be re-framing it... (lol) and putting it in the next function that she attends. As long as it goes to a good cause, I'm happy!
