I've just started, but it looks like the best plan to start out is buy 2 females & 1 male from the shop, raise them, breed them, try to improve your normals, and sell off your extras.

Don't spend money on morphs until you reach level 10, because you can't breed them if you aren't lvl 10 or higher.

Yeah... I started playing this today and I'm hooked! I'm now at level 5... waiting for my stupid females to get ready to do some more breeding!

Perfect! I've been looking for something to do at work to kill time!

I bought eggs and i got a het albino male so i had to sell one oh my snakes.

What's the difference in all the different rooms? Like breeding, nursery etc.? I'm only level 1 hehehe

Nursery shows what snakes are still not up to breeding size and shows how long until they're ready to go.

Breeding room shows which snakes are ready, their quality level, and allows you to pair em up.

Snake room shows all of your snakes that are hatched out.

Thanks, but nothing is showing up in my "Snake Room"....just in the other rooms...?

How do you get experience to move up levels? I keep getting het albinos and having to sell them...lol I like this game

If you happen to get a morph as one of your first few eggs, you should probably sell it. When you are ready to breed morphs, you can buy them out of the market and you'll usually get higher quality from there than from the shop. If you have trouble finding a morph other than axanthic in the market, there is a reason... axanthics are worth considerably more. Just make sure it is a single morph. You can't do double morphs until level 20, triple until level 30, etc.

The game is a little buggy. If your snakes aren't showing up where you think they should be, try clicking on the incubator, then the nursery, then the breeding room. That seems to fix things.

Also, although your snakes can get hungry and even starve to death, there is no way to feed them. :( It hasn't been a problem for me since I've usually improved my quality enough that I'm selling them off before they reach the point of starving.

If anybody wants a little boost to help you get started I will buy a snake off you for 20k. That's how I got started so it seems fair to pass it on! :) Just put any snake on the market for 20k (to market snakes, go to the bottom of the market list), then post here telling me your ID there. It is pretty unlikely anyone else will buy a starter snake at that price, but if they do... well... you still get your little wad of cash to help you get started!

After breeding the normals for 2 times i got to level 2....
but it's slow because i want to save the money for later.

Did you buy any quality snakes off the market? Or did you do it all by yourself starting with shop snakes?

Anyone who does this game without using the market at all, getting the quality up themselves and getting their morphs through random luck in the shop, deserves some respect.

I've only bought one snake, and the level wasn't that impressive.
Other than that, I tried to do as much as I could by myself.

I've got to go do some other stuff for a while. My offer still stands, but I won't be able to actually purchase the snakes until later this evening. It makes absolutely no difference to me if they are babies, adults, ready to breed or not, so you can still use them for breeding in the meantime.

I agree, ya lousy bunch of cheaters! ;) On the other hand, starting from scratch takes soooooo long... I'm not sure i'll have the patience to stick with this long enough to actually do anything.

Just bought 3 eggs. 2 females and a male. Pretty cool game since it will be a while until i can get a real BP :(

You start with $200 (if I remember right) and have to buy either eggs or snakes on the market... I would probably skip buying the eggs and go right to the market for your first ones if I were to start over.

It doesn't allow you to go straight to the market! I tried! You gotta start with eggs and go from there! Definitely slow getting started! But totally addicting!

I don't like when people cheat like that. It makes me feel like my hard work isn't important.

I'm lvl 10 and I have $282341. Got it all on my own. No cheating. My highest quality snake is 210 and that was made through selective breeding without market influence.

I've only bought one snake from the market. The rest I've breed from the shop. If only it was this fast in real life :please:

I have 15 eggs in the incubator!!:D I figured out that if you keep resaleing your animals and buying new ones you get a steady supplie of eggs.

I jsut got 17 eggs out of a female and a male( one of Jess's normal males)!! Pretty high quality animals too.

Haha, I appreciate your business! (lol) I think they said that the snakes only live 11 days. So remember that if your not going to be online for a few weeks, sell off all of them and try to re-buy stuff when you get back.

It's somewhere between 11-13.. I'm not positive about it though, I would look it up on the forum but I'm lazy. :P

Gotta love the axanthics in the game...they pull in the money hand over fist... :D

Yeah this game is pretty addicting!! I'm leverl 16. I can't wait to hit 20 where I can mix these morphs up... LOL I'm almost at 1 million now too.
