    NERD Buying Experience
So, My snakes from NERD are due to appear tomorrow. What I want to know from others, just as I anticipate their arrival, what it was like for any of the rest of you guys opening a NERD package.

    What was included?

    How well were they packed?

    etc.

    Moved to Inquiries/Feedback forum.

I am taking delivery of mine in Daytona, so I can't speak on packaging. Maybe you can give a review after tomorrow! :D

Kwik update: I got the package REALLY fast. Within 16 hours of it being sent, I had them on my doorstep. The snakes were very well packed (though a little jumpy .. but who wouldn't be). I am really impressed with the quality of the animals and the care that was taken in making sure I had a great experience.

I WILL buy from them again! I will post pictures later of the snakes .. when I get my hand on a descent camera!

    Congrats on your new snakes!!!!
Kara and Kev are amazing pictures and I trust them implicitly-- I'd buy anything from NERD sight-unseen; they are just THAT GOOD!!!!

I'm happy that your experience with them matched your expectations. They try really hard and have been in the business forever and continue to have an excellent reputation.

Okay, now get some pictures up!!!! :D

I haven't gotten a NERD delivery in a LONG time (I know Kara, I'm working on it! :) ) . When I did the snake was well packed and arrived safely. I would expect nothing less from Kevin and Kara!

This is the Normal Female they sent me (she is a bit shy)

This is the Male 100% HET Caramel (Not so shy)

I am happy with them, but they need a bit of weight on them .. a little meat on the bones. I will be more than happy to help with that!

As pointed out in the other post about this purchase, I in NO WAY intended to make it sound like these animals were underfed .. I just wish they were a bit bigger so the GORGEOUS babies they will be making could be here faster.

but . I can wait. That is what this hobby/passion is all about right? Waiting?

I think waiting is the wrong word here. To me "waiting" sort of shows that there is something else around the bend some goal to reach, some finish line to cross.

Guess what...Your not waiting for anything. Your smack in the middle of the fray. Breeding is just one round in this boxing match but just like a prize fighter the training and learning is far more important than the fight. If you don't get the basic foot work, speed bag ect. (aka temps, humidity, feeding, health care) down you can climb in that ring all day long but guess what it wont matter. Cause the outcome was decided months even years ago when you started training.

Look at it like this use this time to hone your skills. Sharpen your ability to read your animals so then when it comes time to breed you'll be able to see that blind left hook and duck.
