He wants $5,000 for the trio...
Re: Would you pay this much for this snake?
I'm not gonna comment on price, because whether I would pay $5000 for that snake may be different from the next guy. Either way, that's a SMOKIN hot snake...

For the trio is even better Im seriously thinking of putting this on a payment plan... Is this person trustworthy of doing a payment plan? Ive never dealt with him...
Re: Would you pay this much for this snake?
That may not even be an up-to-date price. Under "Latest News" he has a link to '07 babies hatching...

Yeah David's a great guy!
Re: Would you pay this much for this snake?
He's a great guy to deal with. We traded him a Ivory for a pied last year, and the deal whent perfect. He shipped first, and the pied was in great shape, and packed very well. I would not hesitate to do another deal with him again!
Re: Would you pay this much for this snake?
I might but would have to see it in person first. When spending that kind of cake, you might as well spend a couple hundred more and fly out there IMO.
Cost and worth is entirely subjective. If you think it's worth it, then it is :gj:

OK the $5K price tag seems to be for 1.2 2007 Bumblebees 50% het Caramel Albino -- which is an ok price if you are a gambler. Call me chicken but I'm not so much into taking a $5K loss on a group of poss hets -- but that's just me - I'd be more inclined to take that $5K and spend it on two bumblees and two caramels and take the chance out of it.

That definitely takes the chance out of it, becasue there is no way to produce a Caramel BumbleBee with those animals (without alot of time). I think it is a great deal, especially if you already own a 100% Het Caramel or a Caramel, or intend to buy one soon.

Certainly if you already have a caramel in your collection to prove or disprove the bumblebees then the deal is a good one -- but there is a likelihood that neither (or all) are hets.
Are your odds at producing a caramel bee any better by inbreeding the trio, breeding them out to caramels/hets that you already have or producing your own 100% het caramel bees and then breeding them back to the caramel? And time wise which are you more likely to hit first? I don't know my math isn't that good. All I'm saying is that for $5K - I'd rather know what genes I'm working with -- than gamble. Certainly there are a lot of people that like to take that gamble and kudos to them :gj:
Re: Would you pay this much for this snake?
To tell you the truth the carmel part isnt whats attracting me to them, they just look like very nice bees to me, I dont want just any bumble bee I want those jaw droppers and I know Im going to have to fork some money over... The gene Im looking for is definatly there kick butt bumble bee gene
