The Dark Knight!!!!

I think i saw this thread somewhere... I cant remember so... I figured i would start my own!

How many of you are going to see The Dark Knight on opening weekend? I'm pretty excited to see it, hopefully I'll see it tomorrow

maybe not the opening weekend...... too many people


but i hope the movie is better than the ride at Great Adventures! that was a joke!

im supose to go..... i heard places around here are all ready seeling tickets.... so i might not be going:rolleyes:

Well i don't think i have heard a bad review yet about this movie,

I probably won't go this weekend but I'll go see it eventually

Goodness I have been waiting for this movie for such a LONG time.

I just found out they are having a 12am premier tonight at the theater by my house..but truthfully I don't see myself going this weekend due to the massive crowds...

I could surprise myself though :8:

...I am suppose to go this weekend...but...I'm not one to wait in line forever for tickets....so I may wait a couple weeks for the crowds to die down. :) But I am pumped to see it! :gj:

I bought my tickets for tonights midnight showing. I can't wait. :banana:

I'll see it once its free on cable:) That or if anyone I know rents it.

I'll be going after the crowds thin out a bit! :oops: I REALLY decided to go after watching E's True Hollywood Story on Heath... turns out he and I shared our birthday... (I'm of course older.. :rolleyes:) But I give it up to a fellow Aries, and defentlly think it will be, "big screen" worthy!

It's supposed to be Epic, I was a Heath Ledger fan before he died and when I found out he was doing this movie I was pretty excited. Just the previews I have seen and all the reviews there was no way I could pass it up, aside from being a huge movie buff and a comic book nerd :)

Ha ha, why does Great Adventure make a ride off EVERY batman movie? BTW, batman and robin ride was awesome, especially backwards... standing in line for 3 hours for 10 seconds of freefall...

The Batman ride at Six Flags California is not bad. It's actually pretty fun :)

I saw it last night. It wasn't bad, but it was hyped so much after Heath died that I almost expected nothing less that the best movie of all time. He played a good Joker, but the people coming out in their Dark Knight t-shirts saying what big Heath fans they are and that Batman didn't even need to be in the movie all need to get a life. Bandwagon jumpers. Joker's Role was awesome, but it had a lot to do with the top notch script and directing. Christian Bale is by far the best Batman.

Chris and his friend and I are supposed to see the movie tonight... I hope I don't get mauled, but I so excited I could squirt!

Are you serious? Batman and Robin sucked. And they got rid of freefall! Freefall was a great ride as long as there wasn't a really long line. I would never even wait an hour for that ride, can't believe there was a 3 hr wait. Did it have a breakdown or something?

Oh and the original Batman ride is still good. Now there's hardly a line for it which is awesome.

Heard the new Dark Knight ride is lame.

Don't know when the last time you went to GA was, but the new wooden coaster they built last year (El Toro) is siiiick.

I know I'll probably get jumped for saying this, but I am not at all excited for this movie. I'm taking my brother and sister to see it this afternoon. My boyfriend is acting like a kid on Christmas morning.

But I HATE Christian Bale as Batman. I grew up on WB Batman - had the bedsheets and everything. ;) And I just picture him as like, this big, muscular, almost "rugged" type and Christian Bale is none of that. And I hate his voice. >_<

Also, the Joker is supposed to be like, insane. Off-the-wall, in-your-face, unbelievably insane. And from what I've seen of previews so far, Heath plays him as insane, yet incredibly calm.

I don't know. I don't want to judge it until I've seen it, but I hated Christian Bale's last batman movie. We'll see. I'll keep an open mind but who knows.

Your crazy! I think Christian Bale plays a great batman. I think he's the best batman in any of the movies. I like this Batman because it shows the darker side of batman. Its not all jazzed up like the old batman movies, I dunno... it's hard to explain i guess.

Oh believe me....He's absolutely psychotic. I LOVE his pencil trick :8: The previews are nothing like the movie...and a little spoiler...there's another villain not shown in the previews that makes an appearance ;)

Just got back. My thoughts:

Wow. Twisted. Best Batman movie yet.

Just got back a half an hour ago, and it was seriously good!! I'm all geeked out now!! :love:

My brother is in the movie as we speak...to bad his friends didn't invite me...LOL. The 2 year gap between our ages has something to do with it im sure...:P

Movie is Dark for sure definitely the best Batman movie I've seen.

Ok.. I saw it Thursday night at a midnight showing and HOLY CRAP AMAZING! Heath Ledger is GOD ahhhh!!! And Christian Bale is freaking amazing as well.... this is like such a good freaking movie ahhhhh!!!!!!!
