Killer Hognose snake ATTACK video!!

As you can see, my little Gertrude is an unstoppable force of pain and other pain-like adjectives. Shortly after this attack was recorded, I called the police and they were kind enough to arrest her. And yes, I AM pressing charges for attempted battery!!

my god thats freaking adorable. Quick question. I am not to savvy when it comes to hognose's but what type is she (if there are different types) I love her belly. I have been thinking about getting one but I need to do a bit of research first.

now would you do that if she were 10' long lol

They are the cutest snakes when their babies.

I love hogs....had one a few years ago and sold it...been kicking myself ever since :mad:

This one is actually 8 months old. Her breeder says she was born with a twin in her egg that didn't survive. She was 3 grams at birth.

For those that are wondering, I am the breeder. What you saw was the extent of her defensive behavior. The only way he could get her to bite would be to rub mouse all over his finger and wiggle it in her face.

LOL I know I am kind of egging her on in this video, but it's certainly not the way we normally interact. On this day though she seemed extra feisty when I went to check on her so I just had to grab the camera.

And she shed perfectly exactly two weeks ago today, thanks for asking ;) I actually caught her in the act and got to gently peel off the last half towards her tail. Lucky me. She's been eating well too. Four fuzzies down the hatch since you last saw her a month ago. Up to 27 grams now. She was 19 grams when she arrived on 6/26.

-lol- Listen to her hissing. The little ones always think they're the toughest kids on the block. :P I wish I had a video recorder so I could show you guys how the little itsy bitsy ball python comes charging out at me every time. She'd never bite me but she likes to intimidate. I should called her "the intimidator" ;)
