If you had
If you had $1,000 given to you and you decided to spend that on BPs that you think you would be able to get your money back in the future. What visuals or hets would you buy?

Re: If you had
I would buy up codominant males, they are cheaper and that is the easiest way to make more morphs quickly. I would also get het pairs of whatever you like best, because its really up to you what you breed, you have to like the animals.

Re: If you had
SPIDER FEMALE!! But that's just what I personally want/need right now to make my dream morph. :D
Hmm, otherwise I would say a pair of Hets for whatever catches your fancy. :)

Re: If you had
Larger hypo female, male 100% DH VPI Snow, female Pastel het Hypo, Enchi female, or if I had a little extra, an Albino male het Snow.. There are alot of choices, but it would have to be recessive females, dominant males with recessive genes or double hets for some recessive genes.

thats what i was thinking, and right now my next will be a female het pied because i think and i know im not the only one but it seems as the recessive prices arent dropping as much as dom and co doms are

Re: If you had
Wow-the choices are endless, since you should be able to make your money back on ANY group of balls you could purchase for $1000! In fact, the fastest way might be to buy a single yearling male pastel ( about $150), and as many adult breedable female normals as you could get for the remaining $850.
Believe me, you'll make ALL your money back, plus a big profit, by next Summer!;)

Re: If you had
I would buy an Albino male, and 2-3 female het albinos... Then through selective breeding make high contrast

That's a good deal right there if you can find it.

Reptile shows are the best place to find a deal...

Re: If you had
For me I thinking I would take that 1000.00 save another 500 and buy a hypo Mojo or a pied male. :D

Re: If you had
1.0 100% het pied, baby. (for about $100)
0.3-0.4 50-66% het pieds, any age (for about $125-200 each)
0.1 spider baby (for about $350)
:3

Re: If you had
06-07 het vpi axanthic female, I already have a het male.
Male pastel, i have a bunch of breeding age/size females already.
And if the money was there, het albino female... my het axnthic is a possible het albino. either prove him out to be a het snow, or not.
Really at this point i'd rather get the het axanthic female for 400ish and spend the other 600 on building a new rack and incubator.

Re: If you had
A male ALBINO for $500??? WOW can you get me one and I'll pay you in installments? :D
Seriously, that's a killer deal. Actually...now that I think about this "$1000" thing...I would get a single snake: a gorgeous adult male faded albino I've been fawning over for months at the local store. :) He is SOO sweet and so faded he's almost solid white. SIGH.

Re: If you had
Honestly I wouldn't worry about males at this point unless you're buying breeder sized females. It will take you around two years or more to raise up females to breeding size, and by the time you need the males some of those really sweet combos will be quite affordable.

Re: If you had
I almost bought a fire but liked the spiders more, there on my list
well everything basically is :D

Re: If you had
I'd keep the $1000 and save up your money. After you've got $2000-$3000, purchase a really nice Combo male and a couple adult normal females. Purchase something like a Lesser Bee. Or, you could get a Hypo Mojo or a Honeybee and pick up some Het Hypo girls...
