baby shower...games???

So my sister is having a baby in a couple months and we are having a baby shower for her. For whatever reason they put me in charge of games. :rolleyes: So I need some ideas of games to play. There will be dudes and some kids there also.

She requested we do no games where you would guess her size. lol.


Any ideas???

haha...kinda awkward being the first post...ha...well...my wife went to one last week and this one stuck in my head...

...they pass around diaper that were filled with different dessert...such as fudge, and one was like cocunut brownies with green dye? :8: and the girls had to stick there fingers in it and taste it blindfolded or something? :confused: I duno, this is what she told me, but apparently it was pretty successful and they all got a kick out of it? The winner got some sort of gift certificate...but ya....duno if I will EVER get that out of my head...:weirdface

...hahaha................what women do when they are left alone. :weirdface hehe jk. Good Luck! :salute:

Here are a couple we played at other peoples showers:


Cut a ribbon to the width that you think the soon to be mother is around the largest part of her, and who ever hits it or matches it WITHOUT measuring her, wins.

(Cut the ribbon with her width ahead of time for accuracy)


Clothes pin (usually pink or blue) game:

Anyone who comes in gets two.. puts them on their body, and whom ever crosses their arms or legs and someone notices, gets to take theirs away (ALL OF THEM). The winner has the most at the end...



There are a couple more, but none as much fun as those that I remember playing..

EDIT: Totally didn't notice the part where she requested that size thing.. SORRY! :)

Always a fun game....get a variety of single-ingredient baby-foods and a whole bunch of little sampling spoons. (Popsicle sticks work fine for this) Take the labels off the jars and replace them with numbers. The ladies have to taste each one and write down what they think it is. A "bonus" one is fun, too...one of the fancy "dessert" flavors that mixes multiple fruit to become some sort of unrecognizable purple color. :P

(And don't be nice with all fruit flavors! You gotta go with mostly veggies and some meats, too!)

Ps. We weren't blindfolded, and we used mostly candy bars. I think.

Ever played Scattergories? Make up your own list with baby subjects. Like names, toys, baby food flavors, etc.
