Favre...2 weeks from now...where will he be?
I am not a fan of the Packers....but I have the most respect for Favre than any other current NFL player. One of my best buds up here went to school with his daughter and is a die-hard Packers fan. He is in denial about what is going on right now. :P

So you football fanatics....where will Brett be once training camp begins? I am thinking the Pack wont release him, but they will compromise and trade him to a team he wants to go to...this way they both have some control over where he ends up. I would LOVE to see him in Purple :) I mean I have to suffer now watching Jared Allen in Purple rather than the Red and Gold :(

So, where will he go? ...I say Panthers. :)

PS...What a season opener....the Pack retire his jersey while he is standing on the opposing sideline wearing purple...he could beat the team that retires his jersey THAT night.....ooo the drama! :P

ESPN has an article up that is giving the bears 50-1 odds of getting him. Better start praying really hard.

I personally think he would make a great back-up behind Eli. :gj:

He coming back to play, not to be a back-up. If he was to back-up anyone...it would be Aaron Rodgers. ;)

..ya I think they are more concerned about keeping him out of the division...and if possible out of the NFC...I think they will take what they can get as long as he is not given the chance to come back and haunt them :)

I dunno... They where cheese on there head.

It only takes one prayer.:D I'm sure if the bears play there cards right( hoping that farve stays in the NFL) they could offer up some serious trades to whoever he goes to. I dunno anythings possible.

I'd have to agree...a lot of people gave Eli crap...just remember. It's much easier to be the QB for Indy than it is for any NY team. He won the superbowl quicker than his bro did. He went into Dallas and won....something Favre never did, then went up to Lambeau and beat the red-hot Packers....and topped it off by beating the undefeated Patriots.... I think you have to give Eli SOME credit... ;)

Anything is possible....but the Packers are NOT going to trade Favre within the division...they would have to play him twice a year....the only way he would end up with the bears is if he was released....he will NOT be traded within the division...you can mark my words. ;)

they need to bring him back after a contract negotiation and bench him. they are in a lose lose situation. if he comes back aaron rodgers will leave if they trade him they run the risk of him kicking their ass. hes being a punk he needs to go away

Ya well...the Packers owe him..yes Brett put them in a lose-lose situation...butt Brett has given so much to the Packers organization....the 16 years Brett was there, they made the playoffs 11 of the 16 seasons with a championship...the previous 16 seasons...0 playoff appearances...:O

I think if Brett wants to play ball, the Packers need to oblige him for everything he has done for the organization. It's rough being a Packers fan now...but, he single handily brought that organization up from the bottoms...

They're thankful, but brett's time is done! It's Aaron Rogers time! Brett needs to stand down ....... if i was the packers i would release him....... if he goes to a team in the division so be it! Brett will still throw the ball to a packer, it will just be a defensive player! :D

...I dont think he will end up in the NFC north...but I aint going to argue that whoever he ends up with, that he will never throw to a packer again....out of all the records he holds....he does hold the int. record! :D

...uh oh..ya struck a cord...I forgot to mention...I just got married at Arrowhead in May :gj:

Chiefs don't need him...we are rebuilding right now, and we need a QB...if Brett played for KC, and we finished above .500, that does not put us in a prime position to grab THE qb of next years draft...first we need to get rid of Herm and Carl Peterson...but this is a whole nother topic ;) :gj: hehe

Luck didn't spank the cowboys and packers at home as well as beat the only undefeated team in football.

He was also a #1 pick, not quite back up material.

I thought the question was who won the ring faster meaning years in the league and that would be Eli, way faster than Peyton.

Hey Tyree I grew up in NY and Yankee fans are usually Giant fans and Met fans are usually Jet fans. Where did the Cowboys come from? Yuk

Right, it blows for you cheese-heads but really....IF Aaron Rodgers can stay healthy...big 'IF'...and he plays as well as he did in Dallas last year...yalls should do fine.

As for another jersey...ya it sucks. But the man loves football. Just like other greats....Montana, Rice, E. Smith, Unitas (forgive me if I butcher names)....they all finished their careers with other teams...Favre is just another one of those 'greats' :salute: :gj:

I agree with Colin ANYWHERE but Detroit. Putting a Lions jersey on is like getting a terminal illness with a 0% chance of survival. Detroit on paper has one heck of a team but they always manage to suck (Cough Ford Cough Sell the team to Illitch Cough).

Anyways... bring Favre back to Green Bay or not at all and more importantly. Hockey needs to be year round.

    Now it's on Raul!

First... Dallas was the team that took the division! We spanked the giants twice during the year! We BEAT OURSELVES, the third game!

Next..... When i first started watching football, my grandfather was a giants fan! He hated the Boys! I naturally loved them. Plus who doesn't like stars! They were winning didn't hurt either! But that besides the point!

Giants took the name! Manning! They thought he was Peyton! If they wanted a real QB they would have taken Phillip "Cry Baby" Rivers! You hated that team week 3 and don't lie! You hated Coughlin, Eli, all of them bums!

Now on to the 2 time Pro Bowler Tony Romo! Jessica was easy! Thats nothing!

Taken the division again, winning a playoff game, and getting that ring is next!

Don't let me compare Romo's and Eli's stats! remember i think Romo started 18 or 20 games..... how long has Eli played? How many Pro Bowls has he been to?

Nuff said! Enjoy that ring...... it was a gift!

Oh yeah....... i'm not your friend anymore! :)

Brett Farve is arguably the best Qb of all time he deserves much more than what the Packers have been doing for about 2 years now. They've been pushing him out little by little. One more thing Eli will never compare to Peyton or any of the greats he's an average QB who one the Super Bowl Just like Trent Dilfer did, it was a total team effort that D line should have won MVP.

everyone is saying that the packers owe brett, they dont owe him anything football is big business. the athletes are paid very well to do a job. granted they are famous and the fans fall in love but the coaches and execs do not. when you are of no more need to the team they wash their hands of you no matter the sport or how good you were.

I bet Brett would play for pennies...and again...it is a business...and Brett is the best thing to happen to Green Bay since Vince Lombardi...I think the Packers organization should grant Brett what he wants...I mean they did put him on the reserved retirement list, that is the first mistake the organization did, because they left this opportunity on the table and didn't close it. I just know I wouldn't be the bafoon who benches a legend. Give him what he wants. :salute:

He isn't the best ever...I'd say easy top 5. The thing with Brett is he never had near the weapons that many of the other hall of famer QB's have had. And he has always had an OK o-line. Brett was/is ;) the best of making do with what he has...last season, he had 5 go to WR...most of them no one had heard of...so no he isn't the best ever...but he is one of the best ever. ;) :salute:

Who's your best? Mine is Farve I never had a #1 I use to think John Elway Joe Montana Steve Young and Dan Marino were the best for me. Like you said Brett did the most with less.
