    Piedball X ? = what morphs?
    so getting a piedball.
i want to know what other morphs to breed to it, to get some other high end morphs...

    like
    pied x albino = ?

    and things like that...

or if you have a site to tell me that would be great...

I really like pastel pieds, but I don't like spider pieds. There is something about a spider head and white body that freaks me out.

so can you bassically cross other morphs with pieds to get things like...

    spiderpieds
    pinstripepieds
    albinopieds

    and so on?

    Re: Piedball X ? = what morphs?
Well the spider pied produces an animal with just a spider pattern on the head and then the rest of the body is white. I'm not positive what other crosses have been produced yet outside of the pastel pied.

I'm ashamed to say it but pieds haven't really interested me until recently so I need to do some surfing myself lol

It's actually Piebald. Easy mistake that alot of people make. A pied ball is just short for a "Piebald Ball Python".

are you asking if there is an all white ball python?, i think you are

yes there are super fires AKA black eyed leucistic, and the Ivory, but i am missing one

ralph davis has produced a lesser pied which turned out to be an all white snake also

    anything else?

So far, the following have been produced:

    Pastel Pied
    Albino Pied
    Lavender Albino Pied ("Dreamsicle")
    Spider Pied ("Spied")
    Bumble Bee Pied
    Lesser Pied
    Black Pastel Pied

That's all that I can think of right now that've already been produced.

As for what to breed your pied to, I'd say pick your favorite co-dom/dom morph combo and breed the pied to both, and then breed the Morph het Pied offspring back together to produced a Triple Combo Pied... For example, breed a Pied to both a Pin and a Pastel. Then when they are large enough, breed a Pin Het Pied to a Pastel Het Pied and have 1/16 of a chance of producing a Lemon Blast Pied! (As well as 1/8 chance of producing a Pin Pied and 1/8 chance of producing a Pastel Pied)!

could you take the pin het pied, and pastel het pied, and breed them back in, and would that make your odds better?

    Re: Piedball X ? = what morphs?
anything you cross with a pied(providing the snake you are putting with it is het pied) will result is a white blotchy snake except a lesser het pied and a pied has produced a all white snake but mainly a pied crossed with any het pied morph mostly gives you that pattern morph with a pieds blotchy white spots

I saw a video of Ralph talking about him. I wanted to strangle him out of jealousy.

I agree, I enjoy spider pieds. I think they are a very cute morph!
Any type of pied is amazing I think.

He seems like a nice breeder. A bit arrogant about being the king of ball pythons but hey, wouldn't we all be if we were that good?

What I find funny is the fact that the name came from England and originally referred to a color of horse. Piebald a black and white pinto horse...
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piebald

Makes me wonder if some one should start using skewbald for the albinos and other non normal colorings found in pieds...

I want an axanthic pied... black & white... it would be truly deserving of the name. Has anyone made them yet? I don't think I've ever seen pics.

    Re: Piedball X ? = what morphs?
I like all the pieds... the lesser pied *meh*, sorta not seeing the point of that one.

But I love what the pied does to the patterning of most snakes. So I think all the hypos would be amazing, the ablino Pied and LAP are hot, Axanthics would be great.

Any snake with a variance of color would be interesting.

You should get a pinstripe and solve the pieball x pinstripe mystery. :gj::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

    Re: Piedball X ? = what morphs?
Crossing pied with other morphs is not as easy as it sounds. Pied is recessive so to produce albino pieds (albino is recessive also) You need to breed your pied to an albino (all babies will look normal) then breed all the babies together to get albino pied. your looking at a 6 year project.

    Re: Piedball X ? = what morphs?
At least for the co-dom combos with recessive you have the quicker way, but it requires an adult recessive female which not everyone has, to breed your co-dom male to your recessive female. If you get lucky and produce a co-dom son het for the recessive in theory he could be ready to breed back to mom in time for the next year. So you could do a co-dom recessive combo in as little as 18 months with a lot of luck.

Someone overseas produced a pied x g-stripe, and I believe it may have also been pastel or had something else going on. Check some old posts. I saw it on this forum roughly a month ago.
