    Anybody have a pic....
Does anybody have a picture of an actual Fire Spider. I've heard that the Fire Spider on NERD's site is actually just a spider so I was wondering if anybody here produced one and had a pic.

I can't imagine NERD posting a pic of a spider and calling it a Fire Spider. Kevin and Kara have way too much to lose to do something like that!

LOL...where do people come up with this stuff? :8: Let's make assumptions based on rumor instead of going straight to the source & act as though it is fact.

Here's a copy of my reply to you on ks...

No, the Fire Spiders on our website are a combination of Fire & Spider. We wouldn't put them up there if that's not what they were.

It's a subtle combo, one you have to see in person to really appreciate (or maybe we just need to take better pics)...we have several of them here & they stick out like sore thumbs compared to normal Spiders.

Hatchlings & juvies have a distinct brassy yellow undertone to them (i.e. middle pic) that turns into a very light, beautiful gold-ish background as the animal matures (first & third pics). The Spider patterning is typically reduced, and the white lateral markings are either extremely reduced or absent.

Can I clarify anything else for you? :)

I've seen the fire spider in person at NERD - it IS a subtle morph, but it IS clear to see in person as well.

I agree with Kara though, instead of speculating about what they have posted, why not just ask them directly? They really don't bite! ;)

Yes, but we whiffed on that. Made some awesome Pastel Fires & Spider Fires though. Hopefully we'll hit it next time around, cause it should make a really, really sharp looking Bumble!! :D

I can only imagine! I'm looking forward to that one.

One a side note, the pastel lesser you've had on KS for a while now has made me contemplate selling a kidney on the black market;)
