First hatchlings... Jeffrey and pastel sibling.
I came home from work today to find this sweet face peeking out when I checked my incubator.

I think today is day 60, so I had started to wonder... I am not very patient.

But sure enough, there she was (no I have not sexed her yet *grin*). But her name is Jeffrey and I am suck, so yeah, I will probably keep my first snake to pip.

Had a nap, woke up at around 2 am, looked in again... and here was another babe peeking out. I have 2 out of 6 pastels, and this is the first pastel to pip.

This one is turning its head, coming out a bit then retracting. Jeffrey pulls in if there is movement, but the pastel does not.

All the other snakes are moving around and I cannot wait for them to emerge from their eggs.

Thanks all. I have two out of the egg (jeffrey and the pastel). Jeffrey is a female after all, but the pastel is a sweet baby boy.

I have the other 4 pipping and I have my fingers crossed for a pastel female.

But this female was bred to my het hypo and my pastel... and I have to say I am seeing some striking similarities b/w the het hypo and the babies (some oddly configured flames, faded dotted head, and a few others.).

There is a chance they were sired by him and I am thinking I will try and hold the daughters back to breed to dad... but then wonder if I really want a possible 20+ PH hypos to come from all those pairings. :)

Thanks for the nice comments, it has been an absolute blast hatching out this clutch... and in good style my other female laid the night I moved these two out of the incubator... so in another 53 days I can start the fun over with an additionaly 9 eggs. :)

    Bruce

The pastel's name is tentatively Umberto.

Thanks all... I am enjoying these little guys that much more as I lost my little pastel female tonight. :(

But I have 1.0 pastel, 0.3 normals, and 0.0.1 (still in the egg chillin').

The little pastel male is just a stunner, and the normal girls are all really sharp. Nice high flames, faded heads and neck, and nice bright dorsal stripes.

I will be interested to see how they color up after a few sheds.

The one in the egg has more of a granitey pattern and is much darker than the others, and my biggest egg of the clutch.

Really taking its time to emerge though. :)
