    Striped Bredli on eggs
My female Striped Bredli just dropped her clutch and was posed nicely so I snapped a few pics.

25 eggs and 1 slug, but candling them revealed a few that are probably duds.

That is one good - looking girl Nick!! :gj::gj:
Normally the stripes I have seen are darker. She has a very nice reddish orange to her.

nick, how long have you been line breeding your bredli? they're far better than most of the US bredli i've seen... like mpenn said, most of the stiped centralians are not even red colored.

I have been workign with this species for about 9 years, this is my 5th year producing them.

I handpicked my stipes out of all that Casey produced that year. He really didnt want to sell me this female, I picked them based on the quality of striping but her color turned out far above average.

My normals are all from Price and they have held up very well in their old age, I should have a similar pic of my largest girl any minute now.

The color on that girl is amazing! Like Michael and Colin stated most stripes I have seen were dark or very brown but it is nice to see one that looks so nice.

How big are your bredli's? I've been more and more tempted by them in the last year.

My largest female is around 8ft, but they breed atabout 5.5 -6 ft. all my males are smaller. Bredli are only marginally larger than other carpets, and they average about the same size as most coastals.

I think the vast majoprity of them will be going overseas, I may keep a few here though. I will try to take some pics of the male, he is perfectly striped but his color is not quite as nice as the females.
