    July 1st update
Well its been SUPER BUSY here, so here is just a quick update of whats going on:

1: Justin McBrayer moved up here almost 2 weeks ago now to help out at the shop and with shows and so forth. I'll spare you all a picture as you'll be seeing his ugly mug along with me at shows all over the place this year (17 more to go this year it looks like).

2: Ohio has been great, its really nice being near family again after being thousands of miles away for the last 9 + years.....

3: We did the Columbus and Cleveland shows last week and meet several BP.neters. We won't be back in July as the shows fall the same weekend of the FIRE show down in Orlando but will be back August, September, October and November....
Clutch of eggs out of an albino girl this morning.

A clutch hatching this morning. Pastels and mojo's. I'm nearing the end of my laying season, with another dozen or so to go and just starting to hatch things out.

The incubator on the verge of overflowing.....

And just a random image of a calico retic

My females did not seem to mind the move in regards to ovulation and production, however I've had dozens of duds this year, 10 times what I've ever had. I've also had a good number of eggs go bad this year just a few days into incubation. Thus far my average clutch is only 4.84 eggs (meaning good eggs that actually hatch good viable babies). This number is only going to go down as well as I don't have all that many more clutches to bump up my average and I'm sure that I'm going to loose a few more eggs before everything is said and done.

Thanks everyone comments I should be around more again as Justin should free up some time for me.....

The tubs in the incubator are the 5.4 qt IRIS they are 8 inches x 13 x 4 They are clear and great for eggs. They are the tubs in my baby racks.

    Hey Neil,
Good to have you back in the mid-west!! Have you had any issues with Ohio laws with the vet cert for animals entering the state??? That's why I stopped doing the Ohio shows?? Maybe they have eased the laws and I can stop in every now and then?? Talk to you in Daytona! Brian(BHB)

Brian I have not had any issues with Ohio thus far, I had health certs done for all of my animals before bringing them into the state and went threw the disorganization of the system with game warden. Very simple process, I never got verification on technically what I'm supposed to do when I do an out of state show and then bring my own animals back. I was told "don't worry about that" by the gentleman that I spoke with. He acted like I was the first person in a long time to call, request and follow threw with the proper procedures to get my animals into the state.

Love to see you come down, I don't know where you'll fit at either show, I could only get 2 tables in Columbus and only 1 in Cleveland. They are small shows with decent traffic and I really like the one day format, get in, get out and back to the grind of feeding and cleaning.
