    Zebra jungle carpet
We recently got a zebra jungle carpet python from Paul Harris with some help from Nick Mutton. The zebra is a co-dom morph with a patternless super form, so this should be a fun project. We are very happy with the way this guy looks. I need to take some better pictures, but these will do for now. Here are 2 pics and I posted a couple more shots on our website on the "What's New?" page.
    Thanks for looking,
    Justin

    very sweet man.
it's funny, i was emailing ben a couple months ago about how i really wanted to scrape up the cash to import a couple of these... of course, he played coy and said something like 'yeah, that'd be nice...i'm sure someone in the states has them by now, or i will have them'. :)
good luck, got a waiting list started yet?!

    Colin,

Just so you know, when we had that conversation we really hadn't talked seriously at all about getting one of these. I am not good at playing coy, so if you had asked me once we had decided to, I would have just tried to change the subject, or I would have told you and then followed by telling you not to tell anyone that I told you :) I suck at keeping secrets, especially when it comes to the snakes.

We are for sure pretty geeked to have this guy, especially since we got word about the supers I think the same week we were supposed to be getting him in. That was pretty cool!!! And since a few of us got zebras this year, hopefully by the time we are producing them here in the US they will quite a bit more affordable. I am also super excited to see more zebra jags and other mixes produced along with hopefully more and more highlighter yellow pure zebras. And hopefully Nick will get some ivory zebras going, that would be something else. The future keeps looking brighter and brighter for carpet python morphs!!!

    Yep...thanks :)

Actually, I emailed Paul summer '06 asking about getting some to the US and his price at that time was WAY out of our league, and it was for females only. If we had only known that there was a super...maybe we would have tried to pull that off, but at the time there was no way we were going to put that much money out for a female. After that conversation over email I just figured that the prices would be too high for us to bring a male in, so someone else would beat us to it. Thankfully that didn't end up being the case. This order was 100% made possible (well, except for producing the animals of course) by Nick Mutton. He hooked it all up and did all the leg work and was great to deal with, as was Paul. I am glad it all worked out in the end and went as smoothly as it did. From now on if you have any questions about importing any carpet stuff, for sure check in with Nick. He is all over that stuff and is VERY helpful.

    Thanks for all the comments.
Carmel coastals are too! Wish we had them, but someone in the US does. Het albinos are here as well, although at this time they are all crosses with coastals or IJs. Luckily they don't look like Darwins. Can't wait to get some pure het albino Darwins.

Yeah, I think out of everything listed, pure normal darwins are going to be the most difficult to get...go figure :)

I don't know if they have come out of the closet on that one...so I won't give it away. Don't know if they will get babies this year, but year after they should be able to I would imagine.
