    I use the same bowls!
But only for show tanks. For my bins I use these:

I bought one today at Meijer for the unbeatable price of 1.99!

    Cheaper than doggy bowls anyway.
For hides, I'm pretty conventional and like cave-type expenso stuff. But I also have some plastic cereal bowls that I melted/cut an entrance to which turned out pretty nice!

    Here is what I use:

    Bowl-

I don't remember what size in volume, but they are about 6.5" across the top.

    Hide-

I use the mediums for that size of tub.

I went to Wally world (walmart) and they have their seasonal summer cheapo dishes out. You can get a 5 pack for .93 cents!!! They are these lightweight plastic bowls that are perfect for hides.

    Check it out ;)

well we use the cheap water bowls from the dollar store that have hand cut outs to pick up the water. My balls will curl up under the lip of the water bowl and the bowl wont tip over due to wider bottom than the top i learned my lesson with the ceramic bowls tipping over.

Thank you gor making this post, I just took my first baby steps towards keeping and breeding more balls ... I ordered the ceramic bowls from Ratures suggestion (and apparently they only sell them in groups of 10 .. so YAY 10 BOWLS!). The reason i went with those is they seem a little less likly to tip, which would be great help. I also ordered 4 hides from Reptile Basics. I got the medium ones and thanks for John for postiung the link.

I also just got a gallon of Chlorhexadine which I needed anyway but I just added it to the list.

    YAY!

I use these pet bowls from IKEA for water bowls (only 29¢ and are perfect!) and for hides I use these tortilla holders I found at the dollar store. I just cut a hole in them and they can adequately 'hide' a bp up to 1200g.

People seem to have good luck with IKEA and some of that type of stuff, but unless it's offered online I can't buy it. And by the time I pay for shipping, it's almost better to just look somewhere else for what I want.

    Stupid IKEA!
