I've heard that they "can" get this big. Anybody have one? I'd like to see a pic of such a monster :)

I've heard (i guess from irrefutable sources :P)that average adult size was "4-6 feet" so I was wondering what the hell a 6-foot on would look like, as it sounds HUGE lol

    Re: 6 foot ball python?
ummmm,i most definately think there can be a six foot ball pythons.there is billions of people on this earth and not many are 7 foot, and ive never seen one but they are def out there.if it wasnt for the guiness book and basketball you would never believe it.so i def think there has been and will be 6ft ball pythons especially since there average is 3 to 5 feet, one extra foot is not impossible and anyone with any bit of common sense should not rule out this possibility.we(the human race)are making new discoveries every day.just my 2 cents

I've actually heard of a locality Ball Python that can get 6 foot in length and over 8000 grams. If I'm not mistaken, they are quiet rare. You can do some searching on this forum, I believe there was a topic on this not so long ago on "Sahara Ball Pythons". :)

I would certainly hope that there are six-foot long Ball Pythons as I held one last year. =) I would love to see some pictures of the massive things though.

6' balls do exist. Sub sahara's can get 6'+ and are a locality "giant".

If you look up giant ball python, or sub sahara on this site we have posted a ton of info on them.

We have had them, imported them and seen them, they do exist!!

I've seen a picture of a guy holding one who claims its 6'. Its hard to tell by the pic but it looks like it very well could be 6'. I'll try to find it and scan it. I also have two that are 14 years old and they are around 5'. I would say 6' is pretty rare.

I recently went to the sacramento zoo and took pics of the BP's they have there and found them to be quite rather large as well and had huge heads....
