The first result... Cinnamon Genetic Stripe
    Hi everyone,

I know it has been a while since we have posted on here. We have been pretty busy with work and trying to spend some free time on our other hobbies.

I'm sure some people remember the clutch of eggs that we hatched back in 2006 from a male Pewter to a female Genetic Stripe. We hatched 1.4 Pewters Het. Stripe, 2.0 Cinnamons Het. Stripe, 0.1 Pastel Het. Stripe and 0.1 Normal Het. Stripe. Of all of those animals we only released one female Pewter Het. Stripe, she went to Michael Cole of Ball Room Pythons South and from what I've heard he should have a clutch from her this year also.

Well our first clutch has hatched. It was a breeding between a Pewter Het. Stripe male and a 100% Het. Stripe female. It yielded a Cinnamon Stripe...

Here he is with a sister sibling normal Stripe...

There are a few more clutches coming/incubating now that can show us the Pewter Stripe (and Pastel Stripe which we have already seen but I still want one LOL) and there is a clutch that I am waiting on that could be a long shot but has a chance at the Sterling Stripe.

This Cinnamon Stripe has very little pattern and shows some promise for what it could do in the future. It may not be as spectacular as some of the new stuff we've seen the BP community put out already this year but I still think its cool!

    Stay tuned...

Congrats Sean, it really looks great. What is really cool though is it looks like the Cinnamon influenced the normal G Stripe also at least in coloration. It looks a lot better that most of them and almost looks more like a Super Stripe. Very nice all around!:gj:

Wow, that cinnamon really cleans up the striped pattern a lot. It almost looks unicolored. Very cool animal. Thanks for posting Sean.

amazing! dont suppose you've had a crack at the super cinny stripe? even if you couldnt see the stripe in it, it would be nice to know if other genes are thrown into the super cinny line get rid of that duck billed look out of it.

Does the cinnamon influence erase the side pattern you often see on G-stripes?

It looks very velvety smooth, congrats! :)

Funny you should mention that... I think that the Stripe bloodline might be able to dilute that weird head thing going on with those Super Cinnamons. Just like I wrote in my first post, I have 1.3 Pewters 100% Het. Stripe so next year I'll have at least 3 attempts to be made for the Super Cinnamon Stripe as well as the Silver Bullet Stripe, Super Pastel Stripe and The Super Super Stripe?!? (Not sure what someone will name the Super Pastel Super Cinnamon since it has yet to be seen)

    Scott,

It appears to have erased nearly all of the pattern on the animal on its sides as well as across the dorsal. Please keep in mind that most of the Stripes that I produce have very aberrant patterns on their dorsal...
