    Picked up some Albino Balls
I thought I would share some pics of some new pick-ups from Eugene and Cindy Bessette. These are some great people to do business with. Eugene has been breeding reptiles longer then most of the 'Big Boys' out there. These are some O7's hatched in August. Both are over 500 grams. I picked them up Sunday the 22nd, today they ate. Both have a strong feeding response, striking within seconds. Pictures really dont do them justice, the flash washes them out.

    Hope you enjoy!

This is the girl. You can see the stripes on the crawler through her skin!

    Here is the boy.

I will probably upgrade slightly on prey size next week.

    Thanks for looking!

I have always wanted an Albino Ball. I would take an Albino over any other morph. I just don't get why they still are so expensive when the morph has been around for a very long time.

They sure do have a great feeding response. Heres my albino female from Eugene (also an August hatch) in October weighing 200g

And now presently, weighing in at 1200g (one small rat a week)

    Wow nice growth Jeremy!

I hope with a little TLC one on two care I can get these guys up to par. My plans are to breed just the male this year, regardless of what the female weighs.

Man! I told you once, I will say it again. Seeing these two snakes in person have OFFICIALLY moved an albino up to the top of my wish list.

For those that haven't seen an albino in person yet, pictues realy don't do them any justice at all. I can honestly say that albino ball pythons are the most beautiful thing I have ever seen!!!!!

But hopefully by the time I have my rack all set up in my new apartment the prices will have dropped some.

My current BP wish list (Anyone out there that has extras of any of these please feel free to send them my way :D):
    Albino
    Spider
    and a lemon pastel.
someday I will have them all :D

it is because you are not the only person who thinks that way about albinos.

You're probably right, they are a beautiful snake and the fact is that, as such, demand will always be high for them! therefore basic supply and demand says that they will always be a more expensive morph. It doesn't hurt to dream though . They will probably be my last purchase on my 3 snake dream team but I will have at least one someday even if down the road I have to buy hets and breed them myself :D Sadly thats a looooooong ways away I still have a lot to learn about BPs before I start breeding.:rage:
