For all the border junkies-
For anyone using Adobe photoshop 7.0, Adobe CS2, or Adobe CS3 looking for any borders...I have been making up some of the borders I use, into actions for others to use. If you'd like them, shoot me a pm with your email and I'll send you the action via email. If anyone has any border idea's they'd like made up, post away and I'll see what I can make :)

Re: For all the border junkies-
Here are the 3 borders to come with it right now, until I get more made. Blue, Black, or White, without text. These are all just basic, simple borders right now. The ones to come will be much better ;)

Re: For all the border junkies-
Its on its way :)
Also, for anyone interested. I have just made an action that resizes, sharpens, mildly saturates, and frames your image with the white border. 15 minutes of work all put into a 3 second action, so if you want that one, let me know! :) Only downfall is you can't crop....so crop before using the action.

Re: For all the border junkies-
Here is a new border that will be available soon. I'm still working out the bugs on it, and getting the white border adjusted so its universal for height to width on any image size. If anyone has any suggestions for that...graphics designers or anything, let me know!

Re: For all the border junkies-
I like the last one. Nice. Add a Gaussian blur to give it a nice blurred touch :gj:
-
Re: For all the border junkies-
I've been thinking about doing that :) I may do a separate one, that way if anyone wants the sharper outline, rather than a blurred, they could use that.
One thing though Nate....do you know how exactly I could set that white outside border so it fits all image sizes without coming up too short or too long from the edge of the transparent black border?

Re: For all the border junkies-
I really like the last one too. Your creative, I would not have thought of something like that.

I think I understand what you're saying.
Create a new layer
Fill it with any color
Drop the Fill (not Opacity) to 0%
Apply a Layer Style - Stroke
Set the Stroke position to Inside
Increase the size to what ever size you want.
The difficult thing will be adjusting the stroke based on size. if you put a 25px stroke on an 800x600 image, it will look like what you've already done. However, if you apply a 25px stroke to a much larger image, and then resize it to 800x600, that 25px stroke will turn into a 5 or 10px stroke. make sense?
edit...oh oh oh...i think is see what you're saying. Hang on!!!

Re: For all the border junkies-
I got it down now :D Thanks for the input though :) I can probably apply it to some new borders!
I was just toying with it a minute ago, and just got it set right! The entire set will be up with about 10 borders, with fonts for them, later tonight :D

Re: For all the border junkies-
Does Adobe 6.0 use Actions? If you look where the history window is, right behind the history tab should be an actions tab. If theres one there, I don't see why not :)

Re: For all the border junkies-
Alright! Here they are, edited and revised to use for any size height and width image! I did get rid of the blue border, as it isn't that much different from the black.

Re: For all the border junkies-
Nice work! I wonder if you would allow me to ask a question? Is it possible to create similar borders automatically on a large number of images? There must be some way to use scripts or batch files or something?
Thanks,
Bristen.
