    Multiple Males in breeding?
How long would you leave each male with the female?

This was my first season, but I paired each female with two males... one co-dom and one recessive.

I gave them two days to breed, but if they were still locked I left them for longer.

The longest lock I had was about 50 hours. Although that may have been two successive locks.

We left them together for 2 to 3 days depending on feeding schedules. Also once one locked and the lock was broken we removed him and gave him a break and if they were locked at the end of the time scheduled in we left them till they broke the lock.

so what happens if both males impregnate the female. Are the normal looking ones normals from the codom or hets from the recessive???

I would guess the co-dom was a super? That way there would be no doubt

you're assuming that in his first breeding season he's using supers? Possible yes, not likely I would guess.

Chances are pretty good. She will store the sperm until she ovulates so a mix of sperm will fertilize the eggs.

I leave the males in with the females for 2 days unless they are still locked up. If there is no interest I will try a different male.
