Orange Ghost Champagne
Well I got back from Brocks and these two little twin girls hatched out today! Orange Ghost Champagnes or "Mimosa" balls.
He already posted on KS but hasn't here yet, so I'm beating him to the punch unless he posts while I'm typing this.

Re: Orange Ghost Champagne
Thanks everyone I appreciate the compliments! I got really lucky producing these and my wife has been bugging me to produce them for over a year because she came up with the name and she couldn't wait! They look awesome and just glow! I can't wait to take my Caramel Glow to them and see what happens from there. I will post more pictures of the twins once they shed and start eating.
Thanks

Re: Orange Ghost Champagne
That is a hot combo for sure, and adding caramel into the mix would make those things blazing!

Meh...I don't care for them. My 580EX flash broke last week and I'm waiting for a new 580EX II to arrive. So in the mean time I used a 430EX which I normally use just as slave fill lights. The 430 wasn't cutting it and I had to use a high ISO and large aperture causing a shallow DOF and grainy pictures. :(
Once these two little beauties shed out and get some meals in them I'll take some more photo's using studio lights. :)
I would also just like to say congrats to Brock on hatching these little girls out! :gj: He missed out on the 1st ghost x champagne clutch but lucked out on the 2nd!

Re: Orange Ghost Champagne
Thomas that sounds like a decent deal he he he. Tim I had twin perfect Genetic Stripes last year that hatched out about the same size as these two and I had no problems with them. Infact I can tell you that they were great eaters to my surprise. I was a little worried at first.
I appreciate the comments everyone and I hope to produce some more firsts this year! Good luckt to everyone this year.

Brock,
I remember those twins from last year. I am glad to hear that they are doing great. I have a set of twins from last year that have had over 40 meals and are barely 150 grams. They love to eat and are healthy, just slow growers. I hope the Mimosas do as well as the G-stripes for you.
Congrats Again,

Re: Orange Ghost Champagne
Swwweeeeeettt...Congrat Brock - Super nice...:gj:

Re: Orange Ghost Champagne
Thanks Tim I appreciate that. That is weird that your twins from last year don't put on weight? My twins from last year are feeding good on mice and one of the males is at 400 grams already. It is weird how it all works out with balls!

Re: Orange Ghost Champagne
Nice Brock! :gj:
We saw some of those at NERD when we were visiting Kara and Kevin last month.
You really DO have to see them in person to really appreciate them!
Congrats!
-
Re: Orange Ghost Champagne
Post a picture of the one's that you saw over at Nerd's please? I saw they had a ad on Kingsnake trying to sell a female Champagne that they thought was a Mimosa but they weren't sure. It doesn't look like my babies from the pictures that were seen on the Kingsnake ad. Let me know if you have a picture of it.
Thanks for the compliments everyone!
Brock

Above is a fairly recent post of Oz's Mimosa. I believe this is one of those twins, but I could be wrong. However, it is not a baby pic, so it should help with the visuals.
