Which one

I pretty much have my mind made up but I thought I'd see what you guy's and gal's think. If you guys had a lesser and pastel which one would you want to breed to your spider first? I'm going for the bumblebee I just think there nicer than the lesserbee's.

I think they're both great and I'll have both eventually. I like the lesserbee just a hair more though.

at first i didnt like all the spider combos..but lesserbees are very very nice and when i get my collection/breeding program going in the next couple of years a spider and a lesser will definitely be part of that. and hopefully there will be little lesserbee babies.

if i were to work with the spider gene id say a lesser bee

I would go with the Lesserbee, I like the looks better and they are less common.

I would have to agree with Justin. Put them both with your Spider female, and try and make both in one clutch. If you don't get both, "the gods" can pick for you.

it just gives a chance that both father the clutch, or just one, makes it easier when the ball gods choose ;)

Nope. Both are co-doms, so it doesn't matter were the sperm comes from to hit a combo. As long as the spider lends her spider gene to the mix, you have a 50% shot after that of hitting a bee no matter how many different dom or co-dom males you pair her with.

I think they're a stunning combo. Get your lesser boy a pastel female.

I like lessers better than pastels but I like bumblebee's better than lesserbees.

So far it looks like lesserbee cause my lesser is the one taking care of business.:gj:

Easy the Lesser, but then again it depends on the Spider too... high white Spiders produce better Bumblebees, low whites produce better Lesserbees.

Before I vote I need to see what a lesser bee looks like:P

Lesserbees are not black and white.

As you can see Lesserbees are better looking with low white Spiders while Bumblebees are exactly the opposite due to how good they look with the spotting.

You can see how the lower white picture blends in better.

Hmm, well I voted lesserbee which I guess is good because that looks like what you went with :D. They're both great combos though and awesome to have in your collection. Hey, if you really can't decide which one you like more you could always do like someone said at the beginning of the thread and try both males and leave it up to the luck of the draw lol. Who knows maybe you would wind up with both, it's not entirely unheard of :D

Thats what I've been doing the lesser is the only one who has been interested. I'll be happy with either one.:D
