My snake learned a new move
So during the week my snake must have learned a new move. I really like how he grabbed this rat. Almost no chance of getting bit at all.

I always supervise my snakes eatings to be sure he doesn't get bit. If it seems the rat may be able to bit him, I pull the head back using my fingers. Of course I am wearing gloves when I do this.

Ha! Well for that one you'd need to be over both shoulders. It actually reminds me of an over-under Judo lapel choke!

*I didn't mean to be all salty and correct you, Pat. Since snakes don't have arms anyway, we can call it RNC if you like :D

Does your snake give lessons? My big 2ish year old guy doesn't know how to eat, I swear! He's either scared of the rat/mouse, or the one time he ate for me, he just literally nuzzled the poor rat, then started chomping on it's ear, no strike at all!

He can pay for lessons with all the rodents I've had to preserve in the freezer.. haha
