BP Recommendation for $250 for less
New to BP's, and I am going to be buying a ball python in the next month or two.
I want something unusual and less common. What morph, or pattern would you recommend I be looking at. I lean towards highly yellow type patterns or the real dark patterns. But generally ignorant of the what is available. Thanks"J"

I agree with the pastel recommendation for your price range. Since you like yellow, have you looked on NERD's website, and called them, regarding their lemon pastels?

Ask around for best deals. I have a pair of 08 pastels coming to me for 250 including shipping. I will not say which breeder because that was not his listed price but if you are willing to ask around there are deals to be found.

I have paid the listed price many times. I have also asked for a group discount when I bought several.
I believe that ethical breeders do not raise the prices above what they believe their snake is really worth and so I do not disrespect their efforts by haggling over a price.

I have both paid listed prices, made trades, and made deals, and payment plans. Yes, a seller can post as high of a price as the feel the animal is worth, but in order for it to sell, someone that has to agree on that price... and the seller has the choice to strike a deal or hold out until the right buyer comes along.

Well that's not really more than the listed price if that male wasn't listed at all, now is it? ;)
