Kudos to RC and Bob Clark!

I want to give a shout out to the breeders that I purchased my Het Pieds from.

(the pics are sucky, so I will only post two pics..more to come after they come out and I can get better pics..but out of 5 eggs, THREE are pieds! I am sooo happy!

They have pipped...and awww freaking shucks..it's only TWO Pieds instead of three...but one has some funky markings so I'll wait till it's fully out of the shell to make that final determination.

But two are HIGH WHITE! yah me!!

wow deb, congrats! they are LOVELY! i love the one on the right, with the round circle/pattern. THOSE are my favorite pieds! the more white, the better!

very nice pies you have thier:D are you going to hold them back and breed them back to mom if thier males or find some more het pied females? and if thier females breed them back to dad? sorry for all the questions.:oops:

I don't need to hold back the hets, I have 3 female het pieds and two male hets. The sexes of the two Pieds in the picture are unknown but either way it goes, I am set. I will not be working with the Pied Project anymore, I am farming that out to Nick. I will keep ONE pied here to do other projects with.:gj: I am just glad I was able to hatch out the first ones of the project!:banana:

oh i'm so jealous congrats! they're absolutely perfect! thats a dream clutch for sure. haha in my very distant future i DREAM of having a lovely clutch like that!

Very nice, congratulations. I'd love to produce some pieds myself but it doesn't look like it's in the cards for this year. Maybe next year. Pieds have got to be my favorite.

Pieds is going to be one of our BIG projects, we need to get a het female but already have our het male. Once we get BEL, killer bees and pieds I will be on cloud nine!

On your very first post, the last picture that you provided the link for, you can see all the veins and the gooey-ness in the egg. I just love the angle on it - it's a really neat picture. :D

Oh, and the snakes aren't too bad either. ;) One of your normal-looking ones, just a het not a pied, has a really neat pattern.
