reptile house
right, so in 2004 i had a 20' x 12' "summerhouse" built in my back garden, i recently had it all re done and made a reptiel house of it.
well i decided the other to have a new "reptile house" built in place of the old 20'x12' reptile house.
it will cosist of 5 rooms and will be 30' x 20' i will upload the plans after this post, aswell as pics of the current reptile house.
the 5 rooms it will cosist of is, 20'x10' ball python room, 10'x10' hatchling room, 10' x 10' rat/mice room, 6' x 10' incubator room, 4' x
10' corridor with a 10'x10' personal storage space.
ill post pics and designs in a minute.

What are you doing for a quarentine area?

Re: reptile house
they will be kept in the house, as far away from the reptile house
i should of specified that before, QT is a must for anyone with a big collection.

Re: reptile house
here is what the outside should look like, it will be 42" brick base, with 42" wooden T&G,
the whole thing is fairly expensive including the state of the art heating system and the water supply and all the little niggly bits, its coming in at just over £10k
so you can immagine what my collection is like, pics of the collection will follow shortly

Re: reptile house
Very nice, you can never have to much space.........
After the move North, (approaching 2 months now) just yesterday, I had to sigh a lease for the space next to me as well for an additional 500 square feed, putting me near 2,000 total now and its going to probably fill up fast as well.

Re: reptile house
the new one will be started in the next 2 - 4 weeks, ive got to get the old one down, as this will replace it, and then ive got to have the base dug out, and the damp course put in, and also have the floor filled with contrete, althought afterwards a wooden frame will go on the floor and i will have a 15mm ply floor, with industrial carpet on it, i just think concrete feels cold, and i want the palce to have a nice warm feel to it lol
im toying with the idea of putting a bed in the storage room and stopping in there every now and then lol!
i think i need a TV, and a sofa and ill be sorted :P
ill get collection pics, current racks and vivs, aswell as w.i.p pics of the old one coming down, and the new one going up lol
