    Boa Acting Weird
mmk my boa has been acting weird lately she ate last saturday. All week she has been following me around the room with her head like she watching me and when i get close to the cage its like she goes into hunting mode. Really sneaky like. So i though shes probably hungry i dethaw a medium rat about the same size as her girth and i just barely get it inside the cage and she come flyin out of her hide and hits the rat so hard it made me jump. do u think she could be like this because its mating season? i took her out a couple times this week today actually and she acts weird while im in the cage so i jimi rigged a snake hook and got her out and she was fine. i dunno maybe im over reacting thanks for the help -Josh

There's just no way you can really mean 100 grams with her being five feet. BP hatchlings weigh nearly that.

Yah, you might moving up a size on the next feeding day, see if that seems to "satiate" her more...remember that some species and specific animals just always act hungry (see also: Burmese).
