things that Terrify you?

What is that one thing.. that petrifies you? It could be rational or irrational. Mine? JUNE bugs. They literally make me shake in fear and commit knee-jerk reactions to them suchas panicking, running away, etc. No reason; they are harmless. But yes they terrify me. Insects and arachnids do not scare me at all. I watch spiders crawling around without flinching. But YUCK june bugs!

2. Rollercoasters (I like a few of them but no Top Thrill crap!)

Funny it used to be snakes, but alas no more! Now I'd have to say it's ticks. Those things are so nasty. I got one once while camping I cried til I started hypervenilating. It was rediculous. Just the tought of them makes me shutter. YUCKY!!!!:weirdface

Bees, wasps and hornets - possible phobia
Spiders (getting over being Arachnophobic)
Needles

Less serious fears include stupid people, and having no sugar in the house! :D

definately spiders. i was taking off my jeans the other night and i thought there was one in my pants, and i freaked out: flailing wildly, screaming, etc. turns out it was only the frayed seams on the inside...:oops:

i also can't sleep if there's one on the ceiling in my room! the worst part is i don't even know why i'm so scared of them!

Sharks... I have about two dreams a week of me being stranded in the ocean with one about to get me! And some other weird dreams that could never come true about them...


Other than that not much, spiders give me the willys but I can deal with them.

My very conservative sister stripped in the middle of a very busy fair when she thought there was a bee in her clothes. She was screaming, flailing about and throwing her clothes off!:weirdface
I had no idea what was happening. I just stood there in shock!!:O

Clowns and mimes... they freak me out.

There was this old woman that used to dress as a clown and hang out at the train station I had to catch on Sunday mornings. I loathed her... she would start shifting over towards me and it scared the heck out of me.

I would see her coming and I would send off every possible "GET THE F AWAY" vibe that I could muster.

But really, it was like my BPs... I was WAY more scared of her than she was of me.

Falling. Not heights, that is different. I am fine with heights, as long as I believe I won't fall. On the other hand, I can be an inch off the ground, or even on the ground on slippery ice or something, and be absolutely terrified.

A certain kind of bug that I refer to as "one of those things with too many legs", usually in a rather shrill voice. I think it is some kind of centipede, but with longer legs than what I think of as the typical centipede. Something about the way their legs move in a ripple that goes down their body, despite the fact that the same leg movement on a normal centipede is just really cool.

any stinging insect, spiders, sharks (I find them fascinating, but would not want to meet one in the ocean)

I'd rather get within 50 of a bear eating its food (and I have been) then have a spider or insect on me.. gives me the willies.

Drowning and bees...especially bees that chase you around like your their mission in life.

Once their was a like, inch long one on my wall, then, right as I about stopped breathing, a HUDGE wolf spider came and killed the thing, then ate it.. Yea yea, I know- my spelling sucks.. Something they never harrassed me about in school...So I never corrected any of it (I've got spell check when needed :D lol). My boyfriends horrible- he sits over my shoulder when hes board to correct my spelling for me.. LOL, I know, pathetic.

Oh yea, and I forgot to mention in my origional post in here, that I broke my toe because of one of them, too. The one time I got the nadz to kill one- with industrial toxic waste bug killer- I was shacking the can, dropped it, it was metal and huge, and fell on my toe and broke it.. It hurt...

Oh ya and my girlfriend telling me she is pregnant ... I think that is the worse one.

lol, well congrats- I guess? Just make sure baby is into herps, too!! lol

Worms... Yup regular ol' garden worms. Even though I know they can't hurt me... But I love the snake! lol

One time, when I was like seven, I was dared to eat a worm.. And I did:oops:... It was grows- you could feel it wiggling the whole way down... I still feel bad- and growsed out by it, too.

Everyone thinks I'm crazy for that, I will catch black widows and bark scorpions with nothing more than a piece of paper and my hands but if I see even a tiny roach I get freaked out (dead ones scare me too).

Seriously though, the one I saw the other night had big WINGS and was at least 2 inches long, worst thing I've ever seen.

An MRI machine. I was never claustrophobic until I was rolled into my first MRI. I had a panick attack and they had to take me out of the machine. For about a year I had other episodes (flying in a plane, small submarine) where I freaked out, but I've gotten over those with time. I'll just never go into an MRI willingly again.
