    The Problem Child
Well I guess there is always one that wants to give you grief, this little orange ghost was the one. I had noticed it hadn't absorbed it's yolk at all after a number of days.... so on further inspection it seemed to be lifeless and cold, but it was alive.

It looks as though the cord had wrapped around in a way that wasn't allowing it to "Download" the cargo so to speak.... it wasn't strangling itself which can happen, just wasn't able to absorb the yolk.

So I removed it from the egg, untangled it, cleaned it up and placed it back into the cleaned out egg shell. When I checked on it this morning it had completely absorbed the yolk and was pretty lively. One of those happy ending stories you could say.

Weighs in at a healthy 56g

I do have a question though,

how did you "untangle" the umbelicle cord for him to absorb the yolk, just curious.
