i just bought a new BP they were feedin him hoppers at the petstore... i think he could take on live small mice... what do you think??

I cant see the pics because its my work computer but when i get home i will check him out.

I think he looks underweight...like a triangular shape to the body. I think a small mouse is a good idea :gj:

But, yeah he looks like he can take small-medium adult mice. The prey should be no bigger around than the snake at its widest girth, and he's got some good size to him.

thnx i got him from petco they saidhes about 4-6 months old.... im guessing hes looks skinny cuz they were feeding him hoppers.... so im gonna feed him a live mouse on sunday wish me luck im kinda nervous haha

but he ate the hopper with no problem in like 2 min hhaha

I say adult mouse... My snake is about the size of yours and he eats two F/T adult mice every saturday...

Try one if he still appears to be acting hungry try a second one...

the lady at petco is a moron i asked her if i could feed him a live mouse and she said no dont feed live at all and hes not big enuff for a mouse keep feeding hoppers for awile.... dumbass haha

They say no live, cause they were taught to say that!!
They do sell frozen mice & rats.. they are in the fridge/freezer by the fishes...

Your bp will get big, proper care & feeding schedule.

I just got George Dec 15th, 2007. He is 510grams now... he eats small rats.

yea that lady was annoying......she kept trying to get me to buy more stuff lmao... i bought a starter kit with a 20 gallon long a hide 2 heat lamps a UTH water dish . substrate..... ill let u guys know how the feed goes
