Snake stolen and murdered in El Paso
Texas folks, please take a peep at this.

    http://www.redtailboa.net/forums/rep...need-help.html

    Warning: Graphic Picture

If anyone lives in the El Paso area, and hears anything, or saw anything, or has any idea who might have done this, please get in touch with me and I will pass the info along, or send him a message. This guy wants to find out who did this to his beloved pet.

This makes me want to put all my snakes under lock and key and go hold my boa for a while. This is just so terrible and I hope they catch whoever did this. When it comes to harming animals, my take on it is "eye for an eye" only let him/her/them live with the guilt of it all.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Rick is one of the nicest guys anyone could ever hope to meet. He went through hell and back with Aurora, the snake that was stolen and killed.

Fortunately he lives in Tex. where when a turd needs to be dealt with, it's legal.

Rick, I don't know if you get over to this forum but I'm really sorry for you loss.

Rick is very active here http://www.boaddiction.com/search.php?do=getnew

You can also find out about all he's gone through with her in the last couple of years and see some of the babies she had not too long ago.

It's also not a bad place for boa info.

Eitherway there are many who think snakes are evil and all that crap. Ignorance and stupidity is too nice of a word for people who think this way.

I hope the police are at least questioning the people in the area where the snake was found.

I think it is disgusting that life isn't given a second thought these days. I find it evil to do intentional harm to another life form.
I also think it is really telling that some people on this forum are worked up over a beautiful snake that was murdered while my own daughter is dying due to lack of health care that adequately covers her medications. Some members on this forum told me that she is an animal and animals live and die- that is the cycle. Another forum member told me that it's just too bad she doesn't have enough health insurance- it's her problem and if she dies then so be it.
Wonder why a snake gets more cries of sympathy than a human? The snake should not get less; but more...?
Anyway, I told Rick to let me know when (not if) he catches the scumbag and I'll help with the 'lesson'.....
People, yes, most all people, seem to have a huge capacity for hatred. That sucks.

Absolutely disgusting. It's overstated that "people never cease to amaze me", but really it's true. People never cease to amaze me. I don't recall who it was but a very sage man once said something along the lines of you can tell about a person by how they treat animals. I think this speaks volumes.

Don't know anything about the species, but apparently it was the equivelent to "platty daddy" or "platty daddy's" first offspring in ball pthons. It was the first, or second generation of a morph... please correct me if I am wrong.
