I'm back, even if I wish I wasn't. I wish I even knew how to describe the incredible time I had. I got a chance to spend 5 days with wonderful friends (and Deb too :rofl: :bolt: ) and awe inspiring animals. Oh and let's not forget the heavenly food too! Thank you so much to Kara (and Kevin too) for putting up with me and being such wonderful hosts. :hug:

Looks like you had loads of fun Christie. Kara's food always looks so good. As for the severe lack of pics of such things as the Feek and other NERD staples I regret to inform you that ..your fired...LOL

You should have smacked Robin though..Shes wareing an RDR shirt at NERD I'm surprised Kev didn't try to feed her to Wally.

Ummmm.... I have 300 pictures. Of course a good many of them do not fall in the family friendly realm. I do have FEEKY pics, and I'll get those up in a bit. He's responsible for my overwhelming urge for a lovebird now. :oops:

I'm still trying to catch up on stuff here at home. My husband did a VERY good job, as this was his first time with our 6 and 8 year old - all by himself. (shocking I know) Except for almost missing to pick up our kids from school on Friday, and not doing any laundry - I was IMPRESSED. He even cleaned up the living room and kitchen (even though he didn't cook a single meal while I was gone. :rolleyes: ) My biggest fear was my daughter's hair, which I could get a brush through - so I consider that a huge success. Anyway, here's a few more pics.

It was soooooo hard to have to leave you guys and go through security. We managed to time it right, as they had started the boarding process as we walked up to the gate. The only thing that made it bearable is that Daytona is in 12 weeks. I don't think I've laughed so hard in awhile. You gals are a riot!

We certainly missed you too Jo! It was so much fun, it's definitely worth the trip.

As for the video... well... Robin had never seen it so of course we had to fix that! For the remainder of the trip, someone would be humming that tune at random times.

I'm still sad, especially when I am the one cooking dinner. It doesn't come out even close. Although I have been inspired to try some new stuff, and maybe even make a nice apple pie in the near future. :yes:

Em and Christie - you girls are WIMPS! That weather was spectacular - and if you hadn't been so pitiful, Christie - I'd have pulled that oscillating fan out each night on top of sleeping with the windows open!

It's 70 degrees out and Christie is wearing sweats, a zip up hoodies and has three blankets tucked around her.

I'm sleeping in shorts and a thin sheet in the same room. And even then - a few nights I was still hot!

Well to be fair, some of my problem stems from a medical condition. :oops: But yeah, I'm a majorly cold intolerant person. I was perfectly okay once I got that third blanket though. I could have even ... maybe... have taken off my jacket. :giggle:
