    New Puppy
We just got this puppy about a month ago, I think he's an English Bulldog, but not sure. If anybody has an idea of what he is, feel free to share. He's about 5 months, and his name is Cash. He was really malnourished when we got him, but he's beginning to look a lot better. He definitely acts like an EB tho.

He's precious! He might also be an Anglican Buldogge, because the last shot looks like he might have some pit bull in him, too. Here's a link for you:

He's a cutie. Just because, here's my puppy:

That's Alex, my 100-pound Great Pyrenees/Red Tick Coonhound mix. Forgive the mud puddles; they're his fault! I like to walk him when it rains because he rolls in them and makes a mess in the house, but I wanted pictures, too.

Definitely bulldog, but Sapphire is right, the last shot looks like a pit. The mixture is definitely a possibility, but it is hard to tell since I cant really tell how big the dog is. Make sure you dont let him get away with much because if he is part pit he can become the classic bully breed. Good luck.

Lol,... pits, boxers, any sort of bull doggish-squished face dog all look sort of the same. I think he looks very much like an English Bulldog/Boxer. Especially in the first picture.

He's a handsome fellow all the same!

Well, he is absolutely adorable!!!! I dont see anything but bulldog in the first one, and the second one is at a weird angle so I don't want to say he's anything from that shot. Its a cute picture though ;). I think we should give him a few months to grow up some more, then we'd have a better guess at what he may *be* so to speak ;). So cute! I love puppies!

i agree with connie and starmom. my very first thought was bulldog/boxer. the first pic looks like bulldog, second is a total boxer pup face. reminds me of my old dog when he was a wittle baby.

thanks for the replies. I've done some reading on EBs and Boxers just to try and get a feel for the "average" temperament I guess. He definitely matches a lot of what I've read about bulldogs, he just doesn't quite look like other bulldogs I've seen, so I guess he's a mix.

I would say French Bulldog. They tend to look a tad bit different then english bulldogs so that would explain the pit/boxer traits you see.

    Hope this helps

I work at a doggy daycare and he looks just like "Elbie" which is a English Bulldog mixed with a French Bulldog. Especially the second picture, they look identical. :)

If you could post a picture of him standing it would be better. If he is all English Bulldog he would have the classic stubby body. He looks lankier than that in those pictures but it is hard to tell without him standing. Could be a young boxer or a boxer/bulldog mix. :)
