Bleh, must have been removed... here's the image that I saved earlier... I believe it was Amazon Reptile Center that was selling it.

Never seen one before, or heard of that type of albinism in Horned Frogs. Looks pretty cool though.
Re: flame phase pacman frogs
They wanted 99 for it. :(
Re: flame phase pacman frogs
Wow....thats a steep price they're asking for an already proven line of Amelanism. It could just be brighter contrasting in that particular animal, vs. others. It happens in other animals as well...
Re: flame phase pacman frogs
Yea... I'm pretty much dealing with not getting a pacman anytime
Re: flame phase pacman frogs
:O THAT ROCKS!!!!!
Oh man.... That's reeeeeally Kooooo
Re: flame phase pacman frogs
im picking 2 of them up soon, the price seems really steep though. Good luck!
Re: flame phase pacman frogs
Do you have any pics of adults? I can't see much difference between that and a regular ol albino. I've got a female I've had for years that has almost that much red on her and she was just a normal way back when.
Re: flame phase pacman frogs
It is a regular albino pacman frog(ceratophrys cranwelli) Many albinos crans show this reddish/orange coloration this speciman simply displays it a bit more than most albinos but this frog isnt anything more than an albino cranwelli. And 99 for it is absolutly outragous especially when you can pick up an albino pacamn at your local petco for like 20 bucks.

Agreed completely. It's nothing more than an albino that happens to show some oranges. That can even be acheived sometimes but the food they consume. gutloading their crickets and roaches with carrots, yams, squash, and leafy greens that are high in betacarotine will help to enhance their colors. As soon as you stop feeding these things then the color goes back to what it was before.
Here's one of mine that hardly had any orange on it a few months ago. Mine's not as nice of a picture or as solid of red lines as the one posted, but it is still just an albino. They are not uncommon by any means.
