Is there something else going on here? That looks much better then other pastel yellowbellies I've seen.
Re: Pastel Yellowbelly taking a peek!
I was also wondering if something else was going on with this one. I saw a pastel yellowbelly by nerd that looked amazing, I have seen others that looked so-so. I'm definitely thinking about trying for one of these in the future, I hope it looks this good!

Gorgeous snake! Although the title made me think it was gonna be peeking out of an egg!

Some pastels look amazing and others look so-so. Might just be the result of selective breeding and good bloodlines?
Re: Pastel Yellowbelly taking a peek!
Well, if you use a Pastel that looks awful, you'll get "so-so" Pastel crosses.
I am loving that avatar too. Eboonnnnyyyyyyy and Iiiivvvooorryyyyyy ;) Ivories next year.. I'll get there.

Amir’s Line of Yellow Belly’s produce great looking Pastel Yellow Belly’s. Here is a Male I produced from one of his in 2007 doing his thing with a pretty Pastel Female. Here’s to hoping I hatch out some Super Pastel Yellow Belly’s this year. Amir, Thanks for sending me the Male you sent me in 2006. He has done a great job for me. He isn’t getting much action these days though with the Pastel Yellow Belly now in the arsenal. :D

Stunning creatures! Those are defentlly great looking crosses! :gj:
Re: Pastel Yellowbelly taking a peek!
OK, pastel yellowbelly has just gone right up to the top of my "I want!!!" list. Right up there with about 50 other morphs! LOL! Convenient though, cuz I really like ivories too.
Albey's website has a whole page about the pastel yellowbellies. I love them! They have so much blushing it almost looks like yellow snakes with black circles & squiggles drawn on them. Gorgeous! Amir's pic has that same effect on part of the snake, but not as much of a full body of that effect as Albey's.

My avatar is the picture of the Ebony and Ivory balls hanging out when they were juvies back in 04. As far as pastel yellowbellys, you have to consider that its two highly variable morphs being put together and the results can be night and day. Also you have to catch the animals when they feel good and therefore look good. He had just had a meal the night before. A big meal.
Heres a belly shot.

Gorgeous snake, Amir! Definitely on my "I'm soooo going to make one of those myself" list in a couple of years. :)
